True that the Supremes were the biggest with many hits over years. Still, the sheer variety in voice and production of a lot of other groups make the issue moot. They all had fans and hits. So many sounds from East Coast to South and points West. Appreciate them all and pick a CD's worth of songs to like.
@Motownman100 The Ronettes NEVER gave the legendary SUPREMES any competition. The Ronettes had ONE big hit (Be My Baby) and a GREAT album in 1964 that contained 2 or 3 very minor (but wonderful) songs that received brief radio air play. By the time the legendary SUPREMES hit the radio waves in late summer, 1964, The Ronettes were rarely if ever heard from again. The SUPREMES would continue to rock the record charts for the remainder of the decade. There is NO comparison between the two!

Although this is entirely matter of opinion. The Ronettes win, I am their biggest fan. I love every single other girl group as well.
