When I look at older single women I have to admit I get so nervous. I dont want to be 43 and still single saying "I know he's out there" . I wonder what contributed to the singleness of most of these women. So many people blame God but the truth is its probably mistakes the women or men made that got them there. I dont think a man has to be perfect to be with him I dont have a list but I do have standards. Some so called Christian guys can turn out to be the Devil once you re married.

To that good man, it is my prayer that he would seek Christ. As Christians we need to set a standard, and everyone may not agree, but we as Christians know that in the long run it is for our good.

Sometimes scripture can be taken out of context in reference to relationships and marriage: He who finds a wife finds a good thing so some women wait, but the bible also tells us to be ye doers of the word and not just hearers meaning you have to do something. The bible speaks very little about courtship or dating.

You are so right, the goal is not to settle for someone who just attends church but rather a man who is committed to Christ! There is a HUGE difference and I think many of us have learned that lesson the hard way.
I've made the mistake of dating men who were 'christians', but not at all committed to the Lord. It's a terrible mistake - it will ruin your life if you go that way. I've learned that point the hard way.
Not all christian men are perfect though.I have heard stories of christian men who later on turned out to be abusers.Then there are average everyday men that are honest,committed and kind.Sometimes abusers hide behind religion instead of really being honest about who they are.
I just read the comment on your channel. So I guess his philosophy is if you don't get what you want then you settle? No one is denying there aren't good men who aren't Christians. The point is that you know what you want and you are exercising your faith and waiting. Instead of criticizing you for waiting for a Christian man, he should be applauding you for your strength while you wait for what you want. Very well done, Lisa.
