Remember the 286bpm of HH with double bass and the 280 of Kollias, for not talking about their blast beats, gravity blasts and rolls... Plus they are perfectly trained for jazz/fusion (Hellhammer more), so they are extremely technical, much more than any extreme drummer... Try to hear HH in his prog-avantgarde-metal bands like Winds, Arcturus, Shining and more...

If you think that HH can't hold the speed for long time, try to hear his double bass work with Shining and Winds, in this two songs: Vemodets Arkitektur and The Last Line... And Mayhem's albums are full of long parts with super fast blast beats, so don't say wrong things... Hellhammer has a jazz/fusion background, and you know very little about him... Know Arcturus is not enough, sorry...
