  • ditemi se questo e o non e un genio indelebileeee

  • It was impossible that US team for Davis Cup could lose!

    With Mac,Sampras,Courier and Agassi?No way!

  • Agassi is sick

  • No matter who else comes along, there will never be another player like McEnroe. When he got to the net, I was on the edge of my seat! Astonishing reflexes.

  • U CANT BE SERIOUS...U CANT BE SERIOUS...U CANT BE SERIOUS...U CANT BE SERIOUS...U CANT BE SERIOUS...U CANT BE SERIOUS...U CANT BE SERIOUS...U CANT BE SERIOUS...U CANT BE SERIOUS...U CANT BE SERIOUS...U CANT BE SERIOUS...U CANT BE SERIOUS...U CANT BE SERIOUS...U CANT BE SERIOUS...

  • @bassem008 It's you "cannot" be serious.

  • @Nigelxman now "u can not be serious " is it why replied ... u can not be serious... U can NOT be serious

    ..lol ( i know hhh )

  • what a team they had in 1992, Agassi, Sampras, Courier, Chang, Martin, McEnroe still great in doubles WOW

  • I remember this match. Took 2 sets for Sampras to wake and start contributing, but Mcenroe owned the court.

  • shit he was quick, but if u notice all the greats r fukn quick, forgot how he could move ahhhhh 70's 80s' 90's best tennis ever!

  • Where has all the talent gone? Tennis used to be th US game!

  • Is that blonde kid wit the the black shirt roger federer by some chance

  • @SILK334 He looks like Draco Malfoy

  • Martina Navratilova once said it does not matter who you play doubles against as long as you play together with John McEnroe ;-)

  • legendary davis cup team.

  • McEnroe was, and is, an insuferable jerk, but his genius on the tennis court can't be denied.

  • Some of the finest tennis players over on the American side. Those where the golden years.

  • 2:08 what is draco malfoy doing at a tennis match

  • that must be the best davis cup team ever... Sampras/Agassi/Johny Mac/Courier/Martin

  • @tennistubetv I don't know... the aussies in the '60s and '70s were good (Ken Rosewell, Rod Laver, John Newcombe, Lew Hoad, Tony Roche, etc.)

  • @TheRoserver That's a bit before my time, but sounds like a very strong davis cup team :)

  • @tennistubetv it's about 50 years before my time...

  • @federerroger1991

why do you say they were not as good as the players today? because they weren't athlets?

so the question we have to ask ourselves is: what did you need to have in this area to be the best in tennis? the same as today, minus to be an athlet. so what does it change?

  • McEnroe is the most creative player ever, not a machine that repeats all the time...a tennis man that creates on every points!

  • my first tennis remember in my life...i was just 9.....who was the US' team's captain???

  • Happy 52nd Birthday, Mac>>>Feb.16,1959

    You're still the best!

  • I agree with vulcan Mac Enroe and and anybody else....

  • They are all ridiculous players, the level was very low, the true tennis is now, with Federer, Nadal, Djokovic and so on. McEnroe, Borg, Lendl belong to the past, they suck, look at their phisic, they weren't athlets lol

  • @FedererRoger1991 This is the most ignorant comment I've ever read on a tennis issue.

  • @FedererRoger1991 Borg had a resting heart beat of 40 beats per minute. McEnroe had unbelievable touch. Trust me, they were athletes

  • Mcenroe best for ever

  • some of these McEnroe shots are just insane.

  • mac the genius

  • Why can't we have american players like that anymore? :(

  • mcenroe and sampras together? there aint no better double!

  • wow jim courier, andre agassi, john mcenroe, pete sampras, and along with a talented player like todd martin the 1992 US Davis cup team had to be the best davis cup team of all time, the 80s and 90s were truly the golden age of american tennis

  • big mac rules!!!

  • Is Macie playing with Sampras?

  • weird sampras and mcenroe never clap hands or anything.

  • @ibwangin that shit started in the mid-90s, i guess, prob came from volleyball where partners slap hands on EVERY shot, even missed ones... that has spread to tennis now

also, back then players would shake hands the traditional way (not the hand clasp) and wore shorts that were short... and camera work wasnt so ball-focused like now that u cant even see the fucking player half the time on replays

  • @mephatboi Communicating between points has become more common place nowadays in Doubles. It probably has nothing to do with volleyball. It's just that the game of tennis has modernized as have other sports.

  • Greatest Davis Cup Team of All Time!!!!! There never will be one like that again.

  • davis cup 1992 between USA and Switzerland was the first tennis torunament i've seen on TV..........i was just 8 yrs old.............USA's team: Single 1, Courier; single 2, Agassi..Doubles: mc enroe and sampras.....

  • @pablotjob Yeah, overpowered anyone? lol.

  • nice double - mc and stich :-) two brilliant players

  • @vaulcan Greatest Qoute EVER!!!

  • @vaulcan Peter Fleming... lol

  • Can someone send me a link or upload the full match of Mcenroe and Sampras davis cup doubles?

  • @trigstah117 google elrincondeltenis

  • sampras, mcenroe, agassi, and courier. ha no wonder us davis cup was so succesful

  • Mac was an unbelievable single player, but in doubles he was by far the best ever, thx for the upload

  • Who were their teammates (USA players)?

  • Todd Martin, Andre Agassi and Jim Courier. Looked as if Patrick McEnroe was there too.

  • Yeah, that's Patrick

  • I think he was Pete Sampras

  • I hate his attitude but I love his tennis.

  • Greatest volley of all time. Wish he had the seriousness of the competiters like Federer and Nadal today, as in his physical conditioning. He would have been top 3 all time greats.

  • Greatest doubles player ever!

  • mcenroe was fantastic at the SAP Open in '06 when he won w/ Jonas Bjorkman (mac was 47)

wish i had seen more of mac's matches w/ woodforde in '88/'89 (or even w/ agassi/edberg later on, which i never saw)

  • What happened at 3:00 ? It deflected of the guys face and then McEnroe pushed it over with his hand??

  • The ball hit the net, bounced into the other guy's hand, and into McEnroe's court. He already won the point, so did the same for fun.

  • Ah, I see. The hand waving made it look like he was covering his face! Thanks.

  • Yeah. That is what happened. The point was over when the ball hit J-Mac's opponent, so comically John jush used his hand to push the ball back.

  • すばらしい投稿ありがとうございます。

  • very nice upload.

  • Is there any doubt McEnroe is the greatest doubles player ever??! Even here, playing with/against players ten years his junior.

  • i totally agree.

  • Mc enroe is unique and very talented!

  • my teacher said im very unusual
