eatthedayfan, i kinda agree with you. the reason this band were sick is because they could mix the harsher, rockier moments of NERD with the mellow, Stevie Wonder type chord progression. The new band seem to have lost all this, and so a lot of nuances that make NERD's music so indelible is lost in live performance. i would LOVE to see this old band perform songs like 'you know what' and 'sooner or later'. i mean, listen to that that mad synth come in at 2.54. sounds amazing.
