I have a few questions. Im a rising senior. Why the hell when i go to fill out FAFSA does it ask for tax stuff and if im in the army? Is this supposed to be for my parents or something. And I dont even know when to fill it out. Should i fill it out now before the June 30th deadline or wait till next year??? Wtf?

@TBRAMPAGE FAFSA isn't just for senors, anyone at any age going into college can fill it out, some of those people may be in the military, as for tax stuff. Income is a factor in determining if u qualify for aid or not. Your income and both parents income is included on fafsa every year till u reach 24, get married or have a child. there are other factors as well, but yes your parents have to fill out their section as do you.

I didn't work at all last year, I got the full amount awarded to me and it paid for all my classes! (15 credits) I even got $1,563 back. If you're at a university, this can only pay for maybe half of your classes. There's no reason, you shouldn't have enough money for a full semester and your books!

This is a super helpful video about FAFSA cuz FAFSA can be so confusing, I tried to fill out the app like a millions times and couldn't get it right but these guys really break it down for you and make it easy as pumpkin pie. Stuart was the most helpful.
