I gave up on it cause the mechanics were too complicated. Your design is good, but the current state of it renders it inpractical due to its space issue. I can see there is a lack of space... but if you are able to make it smaller you will be close to the actual designs found on the Codex pages in Assassin's Creed II

Could you please make a tutorial on this? i want to see if i can try and improve on your design. not saying i'm better than you. i'm not, i just get a little more creative than others at time. and i see a fault with these blades (Xiphoids, actually, that's the proper name) is that as soon as you bend your wrist back the back comes out. vs altair's blade you needed force. although a fault with your older model is that you need a lot of force to overcome the blade.

@LastPlaceWinner While Altair's was kinda hanging on be a little bit so you could flick your arm the blade would come out, since the blade lock held the blade inside of the chassis unless your wrist is bent back and force is applied.

and if i remember correctly, the dev notes for Ezio's blade uses a clockwork mechanism. much like the kind you find self winding watches, that was the spring force for the blades. although dev notes are really just excuses for a game. none the less.

You are one of the best hidden blade makers on youtube. I think if you made your own scissor jack and gear it would be thinner. Even if you don't make the scissor jack if you cut the gear in half or made your own thinner gear it would be 50% better. I'm not saying it is bad it is very good. I know I couldn't do it.

yeah. the design really is the one da Vinci used in AC2, but since ezio just hid his hidden blade behind his bracer, usualy modern blades made by people are hidden inside jacket sleeves. thats why the blade design seems chunky
