  • Am I the only one who thinks this version sounds better than Dylan's ? :-o

  • If the Beatles couldn't mock the American music scene, they wouldn't have done anything, period. What do you do when you're faced with a megalith? A juggernaut? Just cow down and do nothing? It was part admiration and part: let's do something better! Music feeds on music. Bach is said to have done nothing but variations of prior music. He adored Vivaldi. Who Vivaldi bowed to, I don't know. Now some whoo-whoo guy says McCartney is Vivaldi reincarnated. Doubt it. Music has it's own mind.

  • Must Yoko be in the picture? I mean, really! You're breaking up the band, Yoko.

  • 0:48 John sounded like Paul Winchell from the Wacky Races & Stop the Pigeon cartoons.

  • one word, "WOW"

  • I never knew this existed. This is TOO COOL!

  • Why argue everyone? This is soo very childish of everyone who has a dumb message about whos better when its obviously!... Dylan is the better of the two , friends or not! BTW: as said before in here (suck it)

  • it's apparent he was rather stoned during this recording

  • Yoko Ono is a Triple Bagger!!!!!!

  • I'm pretty sure John didn't do this in a mean spirited way. The Beatles were constantly messing around with other iconic material when they rehearsed. I distinctly remember Paul doing a funny rendition of "Besame Mucho" at one time and plenty of other examples like this during the filming of "Let It Be". More than likely, it was probably John subtly suggesting to the rest of the band that they should take a break from the session and go outside and light up a "reefer" (as George would call it).

  • "Goddamn you little microphone!"

  • This is a fucking GEM

  • goddamn u little microphone

  • Bob Dylan sucks, he's mocking him

  • @marlonmillburn67 john was a HUGE dylan fan. suck it.

  • @marlonmillburn67 Naw Timmy !

  • @marlonmillburn67 are you a moron? Dylan and Lennon used to have a great relationship, this is clear on the taxi videos,on Dylan's biography by Robert Shelton he says they used to hang out at Lennon's house. So before you speak, know what you're talking about.

  • @marlonmillburn67 john lennon looked up to dylan. he even tried to, in his words write, his songs more "dylanesque"

  • Messing around yes, but the song suits John and it would have been a great cover if he'd wished to get into it.

  • He sung it better than Dylan.

Lucky for Dylan, he wasn't really trying.

  • @1KSarah Fucking sad to hear that. Do you even know what Dylan's done for music its incomparable.

  • This is kool..I never heard this..Thanks.

  • @420andsuch /watch?v=3SvAOorGql0

  • Ringo's drumming!

  • my comments never get liked ._.

  • @kingsergio128 No, they get disliked instead, at least that's what I did to you for being such a whining bitch.

  • Ringo always plays great drums....

  • Comment removed

  • even coughing when done by a Beatle sounds like music

  • BOOOOOOOTLEGS ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!~E

  • hole are a cool ba nd

  • First time for me I hear John do this Dylan song...John was a funny guy

  • Oh cool, I know Get Back/Let It Be stuff, but I never heard this one!

  • god damn you little microphone

  • dude. HE WAS PROLLY FUCKING STONED. happy 420 yo :)

  • @wakawl: Good to hear.:)

  • Haha John's words at the end xD

    I love him so ...

  • @abel1dejesus2

John was just messing around, he wasnt being serious about the song. if he were i bet he'd do much better than it sounds here.

  • @If he lower the chord key to a lower, perhaps to his habitual for his singing voice: I would have been a 'major blast' in recording history...just imagine If he had tried 'harder'!

  • @abel1dejesus2 When John Lennon sings like this, he's always just messing around.

  • @abel1dejesus2 actually, the beat is better, though ;-)

  • @abel1dejesus2 OF COURSE, JOHN WAS JUST MESSING AROUND, AND I LIKE DYLAN, BUT WHOEVER SAID HE COULD SING? EXCEPT FOR LAY LADY LAY AND KNOCKING ON HEAVEN'S DOOR, HE REALLY DOESN'T HAVE MUCH OF A VOICE. GREAT TALENT FOR LYRICS, BUT NOT A SINGER

  • @1dublj you need to listen ,,he's a great singer,,,not always ,,listen to live "albert hall " just brilliant..

  • @1dublj if there is any point where he sounds good to you than hes a good singer. its like you see an answer to a math problem but you still believe that it can't be solved. you said he sounds good but he can't sing. he's a better vocalist than anyone on american idol or anyone since the 70s

  • @abel1dejesus2

definitely 'sonds' a million times better...

  • @abel1dejesus2 Do be quiet.

    Good lad.

  • Ha! I love the ending.

  • wow ringo's good @ drums

  • Bob Dylan > This :l

  • @temporarylikealonso Dylan introduced The Beatles to mary jane, forever changing their lives and subsequently our lives. So... you're damn right he did. LOL

  • He must be really be pissed off at that microphone!

  • god damn you little microphone BEATBOX :D

  • I think it's John... The Accent in all song and especially in 0:50 is unmistakable. It's John Lennon.

  • Somehow Curt Cobain reminds me of John Lennon. For all the wrong reasons.

Or this song just gets to me.

  • GOD DAMN YOU LITTLE MICROPHONE!

  • *squeaky noises* GODDAMN YOU LITTLE MICROPHONE!

  • He rele does this Dylan song great :)

  • you can tell it's lennon at 0:33

Listen to when he says "everybody",

ive never heard anyone get that same sound as him

  • Yes this is John not an imitation. Ne one that knws ne thng about the Beatles will recognize John's voice in their sleep. Besides my uncle had this on video so I have seen this performed.

  • Sony Music allows Dylan products only on authorised sites. This is a good imitation of Lennon even the quip about the mike which is also to be found on another original, verified Beatles outake.

  • oooooooooooohhhhh, everybody is so sweary in here.

  • where the fuck is the original full song!?? im fucking losing it !!!! what is the point of putting only the covers and half recorded versions??

  • What year is this from?

  • @Wandered1441

This would be an outtake from the Let It Be sessions, January 1969

The Beatles did a lot of cover songs in those sessions, usually just as morning "warmups" before recording their own new material. Lennon, of course, had been a big Dylan fan since 1964.

  • there is no bob dylan videos that isnt a cover or isnt live...did he fucking record anything? jesus youtube pisses me off sometime

  • @420andsuch Try the forest gump soundtrack.. This song is on there. It was one of the songs in the movie :)

  • @420andsuch Yes he did make some videos and some are rare to find. Yet I think by now some should be up.

  • @420andsuch Blame Sony

  • @420andsuch

    watch?v=sijN4Lt5c10

    cheers

  • @Gymnophoria1 thanks pal

  • @420andsuch no problem, 12 x 35 4life.

  • @420andsuch yeah I had a job finding it original, ended up having to favourite an audio only version, sony can suck a fart outta my ass fo sho!

  • @420andsuch bob is removed from youtube because sony owns the rights

  • @420andsuch what do you mean? why don't you just walk down to a record store and get some dylan?

  • @Expected333 I'm a poor man...just got a job though gotta save for a car....and Bonnaroo of course

  • @Expected333

Their both RICH so screw it ... DOWNLOAD !!!

  • @420andsuch Go buy the CDs.

  • @FetaCheese222 already said I got better things to save for...besides I dont like Bob dylan enough to buy his cd's

  • @420andsuch i managed to find Like a Rolling Stone, House of the Rising Sun, and Knocking on Heaven's Door

  • @420andsuch i think its because of bob doesnt want his music to be heard like this , so its lisenced

  • @420andsuch damn bastards sony won't let it on here. look elsewhere; at least its beatles and not some unknown trying to get famous

  • @420andsuch their used to be tons of stuff, lik these great telecasts, but they were all removed

  • @420andsuch /watch?v=pIM03siHuaM#

    there ya go

  • whoa!!! cool

  • Assassinando a música !!!! HORRÍVEL !!!!!!!

  • Rofl at the all the skeptical people out there... xD THIS IS clearly John!!

  • Yeah it is from the Let It Be sessions.

  • The singer gives thegame away when he makes the comment about the mike at the end.Where have all you Lennon fans heard that before?

  • I would put money on this being anyone but John Lennon singing on this tape

  • @tomthetemplar there singin' is John, no doubt at all.....

  • @tomthetemplar

    That is John Lennon.

Or at least that's what the Martian beasties that control our minds would have us believe!

  • @tomthetemplar John Lennon was an avid Dylan fan. It's nno suprise he did this

  • Never, never is this the Beatles. If it is who is the vocalist?

  • John, no doubt. And no doubt that it's the Beatles either, sounds like the Let it Be sessions.

  • @tomthetemplar clearly it's john

  • Beatles singing Dylan ^_^

    haha at the end lol.

  • GODDAMN YOU LITTLE MICROPHONE!!! lol

  • Very very nice!!! Never heard it. Thank you so much!!
