Tuomas was the one writing (and had the others co sign) an open letter to Tarja, because they felt that her newly wed husband did change her focus and attitude towards the band.

I dont know about you, but i'ed say if anyone ruined anything, the blame is NOT only to be put on Tarja.. Tuomas and others are indeed as much to blame for it

@LordAkronos Eh with DPP it seemed like they were downplaying the female vocals a bit in favor of the (much stronger) Male singer in their repitoire, hence why having a lower quality female singer was acceptable.. But their newest album Didn't seem to follow up on it. I still enjoyed it, though i am HIGHLY disappointed that the mentions of a demo version of storytime "with Marco Hietalia on vocals" seems to be nothing more than a lie.. That was probably the smartest thing they did with DPP.

@Leothil I'm not the only person who enjoyed the "demo versions" of several DPP songs with Marco singing instead of Anette. It seems like Tuomas thought for some reason that it was the fact that it was a Demo version in general that we liked, because there are quite a few Demos for Imaginaerum.. But they're basically shittier quality versions of the same songs, with Anette singing and not Marco, despite nearly EVERY source saying the Demos had Marco and not Anette.

I'm thankful to learn of Nightwish AFTER they changed to Annette. this way i was not used to a certain type of music/ lead singer before the change and so i like both. :) they have different voices and styles of singing so i totally understand why others dislike annette.

Nightwish is now nothing more then a jealous self obsessed poet's project. Tumous is an incredible songwriter but when he claims tarja had an ego I laugh. Half of his songs are about what a great poet he thinks he is and reminessing his childhood. He is just as self obssessed as she. I write plays myself, and any poet worth his weight knows that you must have someone beautiful enough to portray your work. Annette is not half the Muse Tarja was.
