  • I heard they get diseases, better said, they get sick from eating other fishes. . .

  • Miss my oscar T^T

  • Nice Oscar fish.

  • filter?

  • awesome oscar but those feeders usually carry diseases

  • Shoulda been playing the Jaws theme while this was going on.

  • ur oscar is pretty!!!

  • Let's see your oscar vs my giant red crayfish haha jkjk

  • 0:13 gold fish fights back I was crying for how funny it was

  • fake peta note:omg do u know how bad that is verry bad as a peta poop man i sais this is cruel omg diarria

  • Did I see a bluegill in there?

  • really nice coloring, a good balance ofr black/orange

  • The only pleasure I would get over this video is if I saw the owner getting eaten by it.

  • @AssassinGreen Animals eat other animals all the time? So it's ok for a lion to rip the gizzard out of a gazelle but when an Oscar slurps up a goldfish then the line is crossed?

  • shit, how big"s yur tank?

  • @HolySasquatchTurd:do u have an aquarium and wats ur configuration..

  • thanx 4 ur advice . im not putting in the sharks..my oscars are about 4-5 inches long not too big..they are in a small tank now .as they grow i will add then to my 250 gallon tank..which has paroon sharks, albino paroons, albino catfish, gren red and ablbino severums and 2 monster koi. would they harm these fish

  • I really love the way u decorated your tank. Its very simple and very well suited for the oscars.

  • hey i have 4 oscars . and was planning on adding some rainbow sharks to the tank..are they compatible with oscars can ne1 help me please....

  • @aniket331 4 Oscars is kinda crazy. They might team up on them. You're taking a big risk with that. It also depends on how big your Oscars are. Also you're going to have to find Rainbow Sharks that are big 4-6 inches strong ones. You cannot have 2 or 3 Rainbow Sharks because a dominant one will harass the other Rainbow Sharks to death. You have to either have 1 or 5 or more.

  • hey can i feed my oscar the big koi pellets because the little hikari pellets are being eaten way to fast and they are like micro size

  • your oscar will eat nearly all them fish fish in there. if it will fit in its mouth it will eat it trust me i no i got too. they wiped out my sword tails and my fighter. but hay that life. is that a rainbow earth digger i can see. the cichlid with the black spot. id be taking out them shells as well mate no good for your water just somthin i hered not dissing you set up. nice to see oscars in a big tank plenty of room for them at the moment.

  • What's that silver/gold-finned fish at 3:24??

  • @FullySick96 Tinfoil barb

  • How old is this Oscar?

  • SUBSCRIBE TO ME FOR MORE OSCAR FISH AND OTHER FISH UPDATES!!!!

  • Your Oscar looks just like mine!! check out my video

  • Is that the same little oscar you had in one of the other videos with the tiger barbs

  • Beautiful aquarium/fish!

  • green terrors are by far my favorite cichlid. if not already done your barbs will be oscar treats just so you know haha i learned the hard way that fish are pigs. My estimated 8inch red tail tiger shovelnose hybrid cat ate 80% of my fish in its tank :(

  • looks like my oscar but mine is 7 inch

  • not healthy / hey your oscar loos like mine

  • problem with feeding live fod is there's always a chance ur fish can pick up illnesses rom the food. been a while since I kept fish but damn I want oscars again, mine were like little puppies and get excited when I went to the tank or even got up from the settee thinking the were gonna get fed. They're smarter than most fish. fed mine on alsorts, they loved maggots.

  • can you turn a tarrarium into an aquarium?

  • @scoreboard666 look what happenned to pakistan.

  • i heard u should put seashells in a freshwater tank. and queastion i fed my veil-tailed oscar feeder fish once and now ever since i fed hin he has gotton a white lump on his fin what should i do and what is it

  • @lover7xoxo i hope your fish is better. but oscars are highly dependant on vitamin c it prevents them from getting a lot of illnesses your first mistake was feeding i a feeder fish. feeder fish and gold fish are almost always kept in very bad conditions at pet stores which leads to them attracting things that are harmfull to other fish i recommend getting a pellet food that contains vitamin c for you oscar and it will clear it up and help prevent hith too ( hole in the head disease)

  • What are those silver colored fish with red fins?

  • I noticed people that comment on fish vids are assholes, this guy is just showing us his fish and to be honest its in a good sized tank looks healthy and who says he feds them feeders everyday? damn give the guy a break.

  • Dont feed them fish you fucking cocksucker

  • @SocalDNM why not its the circle of life

  • @chickenclubfilms I guess you are a noob then. Goldfish and minnows are the worse food/feeders. They have enzymes in them that can destroy cells in a fishes body.

  • @SocalDNM your the cocksucker read the video first dumb ass.

  • @wilsonmma87 I did read the video you fucking idiot

  • @SocalDNM Wow, Why do you care it's not you're fish, and yeah thanks for helping him but still you don't have to get all mad....jeez

  • man my 3 oscars are pigs like my albino (marley) is like 12inc and will have like 5 gold fish in her mouth at once

and bob is a red or orange oscar hes like 11inc and he is like marley

and the little tiger/orange oscar is like 8 inc and he wil have a gold fish and try to eat pellets and flaks

  • Try frozen atlantic silverside fish. The Oscar's love them and they are very, very healthy. No risk of disease...

  • anothone bites the dust

  • what size tank do they need?

  • those tiger barbs arnt going to last at this rate

  • you have a nice tank

  • i bet those oscars like those tiger barbs

  • Are the sea shells not messing up your PH?

  • how big is he on there?

  • sorry but why is there seashells in the tank oscars are tropical not marine

  • There is such thing as freshwater snails dumbshit.

  • lovely oscar you have there those little fish are fast.. nice to know your trying to keep your fish healthy ^_^

  • how do u keep a tank that clean i just started ,ive got the ph right and put the correct amount of salt IN, my filter seems to work fine but water looks just off perfect HELP?

  • proper filter, means u might have to spend a few hundred lol.

  • get a canister filter. They are very expensive but worth the money.

  • you hafe do do a 15% water change weekly

  • just add more filter or change water twice a week 50%

  • beautiful fish

  • thats a really nice tank man beautiful fish there

  • thats funny.... you can tell someone taking a video of their fish eating to get a life, but then YOU are sitting here watching it..... nice try, but FAIL.

  • i didn t know what it meant feeder fish, now i know!!

  • It won't outgrow the tank, but sure he gonna need LOT of more space, if fed correctly, a juvenile Oscar can grow 1in per month until it gets about 7in, after that their growing rate will decrease, for his max size is recommendable have at least a 55G, good luck.

  • oscar get really really mean if u feed it bait fish and worms be carefull

  • LoL love watching oscars hunt, i just got my first O about 3 days ago, she ate for the first time tonight, 1 prawn and 1 feeder fish, she is still shy, but she is coming out. Nice vid

  • Feed them something more healthy you cocksucker

  • what size tank please? and the dimentions..I wanna raise oscars but I want to do it right

  • can you read, look at the description, min. tank size 55g++

  • can the oscars live off feeder fish?

  • no they will get really sick and die. :(

  • i trained my oscar to fart...... jk lmao

  • monster i got a baby one

  • Did I see a tiger barb? Are those on the menu too?reply...

  • that was a beautiful Tiger barb...hope it doesn't get eaten.

  • 0:16 -that feeder near the Oscar is like "Come and get me, com and get me! Oh, thought so! C'mon and get me!' And then when the OScar turns around he's like "Oh, crap" and swims away.

  • i have a 2 month old tiger oscar and his scales by his top fin are falling off if anyone knows what is happening and what i can do please replie.

  • that happend to one of mine it died

  • Those barbs WILL get eaten.

  • oyster shells? are those a good bedding?

  • in 3 days i am geting 1 or two

  • nice oscar dude ,, try to give gim sum comets (goldfish) he looks to big for feeders...those tiger barbs wont last for too long lol.

  • your tigers look to small to be with the pscar dude! they must get bullied ?

  • nie fish..

  • Are anyone elses oscars fussy az?? ive bought about 10 different brands of cichlid pellets (floating) and he wont touch them anymore..only wants crickets and feeder fish...hmmm

  • thats how mine used to be...he would only eat live, and freeze dried shrimp

  • i have 6 oscars and some eats differrent types ...one of them never eat pillets and only likes feeder fish or anything moving...and some likes blood worms and meaty snacks..yah need to try different kinda food for your fish and finds out what they like most...at least thats what i did...nice fish on this one BTW

  • well if u feed him live feeders too often eventually thats all he'll want! ^_^

  • hey man is it okay to keep tiger barbs with oscars as i seem them in your tank?

  • sick ass oscars dude

  • nice oscar

  • Nice Oscars and well made video. I like how you stocked the tank with other fish as well as the Oscars. Just make sure it is wither fast enough and has enough hiding places or is too big to fit in the oscar's mouth.

  • that Oscar is gorgeous!

  • kewl fish :D

  • why dont people use backrounds anymore???,..its looks dumb to just have the back of the tank all clear cause you see all the wires

  • is it fresh water or salt

  • its freshwater

  • what I do is I put my gold fish in another tank for a while then in 2 days I feed them to my oscar so then the goldfish was in clean water instead of deseased water.

  • Is that a discus fish in there? take it out imediatly if it is because they are extreamly delicate and even with the slightest stress out for it, it could sie very fast. Oscar fish are much to large and agressive for discus. Move him into a 10-20 gallon tank.

  • ummm dude pretty sure its a severum

  • move the oscar in a 10-20g?

    a 10g is 10in wide, that thing is probably 12in+ dude >.>

  • I hate to say it but you can count on the tiger barb being A future feeder fish as well.

  • how old is he

  • is that tiger barb also a feeder fish?

  • wow is tht the o2 in ure other video of oscar eating rainbow shark?? hes huge now and looks really healthy!

  • i feed my oscar yellow minnow today

  • u feed oscars goldfish thats wat u feed them

  • i hope your fish dies bich put your mum in not goldfish !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • oi you dick y you cruel to goldfish i will put you pussey in ther!!!!!!!

  • ya.... pirhanas torcher them oscar eat them hole

  • Hi,

I just recently purchased an oscar. What should I feed him when they're young. I use blood worms... any suggestions???

  • feed them flakes, pellets and worms for treats.

  • small prawns m8 they enjoy them no need to feed live food its nasty and cruel :(

  • thats great try some dried flakes aswell but once he is bigger try frozen prawns and small amounts of bacon i had 1 for 4 yrs like this

  • i would buy beef hearts not feeder fish one of mine died becasue of those feeder fish have too much diseases in them id just stick to pellets and beef hearts once a week

  • your fish are awsome

  • My oscar is the same length and the same color in a 24 gallon tank with a 7inch fire eel

  • dude if you want your oscar to live long you need at least a 40 gallon tank by its self so you would need like 55 gallon tank for the eel and the oscar

  • i know but my mom wont buy me a bigger tank i want a 15o gallon

  • Ive found that a 2 tank system with a pvc pipe connecting the two with a pump pumping water from the smaller of the tanks tot he larger is the best combo. Right now i have a 75g and a 50g combined giving me 125 gal total.

  • your tank is too small mate

  • im not being mean but that other baby oscar thing it cant be in there with those 3 big ones he will kill it sometime or another!!!

  • and ive got a bunch of hiding places for red tailed shark

  • would a tiger oscar or normal oscar work out ok witha bichir, id shark, and red tailed shark?...bichir and id shark are bigger than the small ones at petsmart and red tailed shark is full grown and can be feisty when needed.

  • At 0:52 whats that brown color running down his side?Just curious.

  • thats just normal color they all have that... it kinda changes color a bit

  • i didnt see no brown

  • is this the same one that ate your shark?

The video thats "little oscar eats new fish"

  • i can't beleive uve got a tiger oscar in with tetras. i started my 1 inch oscar in tetra tank becasue all the other chiclids tried to kill it when i put it in now it as grown and there is no tetras left. he has a 3 ft tank to himslef but lookin foward to putting him back in the big tank

  • lol look at all your plants.... my tank looks exactly the same with all the plastic plants up rooted, thats the only shit thing about oscars, my boy looks a little like yours though

  • beautiful tank and stunning fish, particularly the oscar! i would love to have a tank like your some day. could anyone tell me, how long would i be able to keep a tiger oscar in a 40 gallon tank for? i heard they grow fast and if i do eventually get one one day, i wouldn't want to stunt it. thanks to anyone who replies :) ps- that's a lot of feeders for one meal, isn't it?

  • 40 gallon would last 2-3 years but oscars can get 18 inches in aquariums so make sure to take that into account =] gl also if its that small dont get alot of oscars they get teritorial

  • haha coolios, maybe i might get one sometime. first off im going with GBR's :) i would only get one, two max coz i dont want them to get into any serious fights. thanks for the reply :)

  • np =]

  • that terrors definately not going to tear up that oscar it wont grow anywhere close to as fast

  • oscars are cool ,but if that green terror lives to be a little bigger it will kill that oscar just from aggression : )

  • I'd also just like to say something really quick.

Feeding live feeder fish isn't a good idea. Since they are raised in the cheapest way possible, they contain no nutritional value. They are pure fat which can lead to fatty liver disease. Therefore, you could be giving you oscar 1000 feeders a day and he could still starve to death. They are also loaded with internal parasites and disease which are passed onto the fish if the feeders are not quarentined properly for over a month.

  • where the heck do you people get the money for such huge tanks?

  • Oscar tanks are CHEAP man what are you talking about?

  • not in romania... well, for us salaries they are, but for RO salaries, uh-uh

  • btw, what volume is that tank? geez if i had that kind of money i'd buy my turtle a huge tank :)

  • Oscar tanks are very cheap, well compared to other tanks. The reason being, since oscars tear up plants, there isn't much money put down to planting.

I spent over $5000 on my reef, and yet my monster fish tank more than triple the size of the reef was only $1000.

If you get some good deals, you can usually get a tank for $1 a gallon.

And I live in Canada, not the US.

  • hmm.... $1/gallon is very good, considering i paid 60c/litre, but where do you get such good deals? and is your "monster fish tank" really 1000 gallonz? /:)

  • I look at my local ads, and on craigslist. There is always someone quitting fishkeeping you is giving away all their stuff.

Although, admittedly I did not get my 1500 gallon for $1 a gallon. Obviously, tanks that size are not easy to find, so I had to get it custom made from acrylic. I forget how much it cost me. I think it was $4000+ for just the tank.

It's going to cost me even more in fish though. Some of the fish I am buying to put in it are $1000-$3000 each.

  • what kind of fish are u planning to get. btw can you make a video of it? i'd love to see it!

  • is it hard to clean the tank?

  • gold severum

  • what fish is it at 0:07?

  • nice. it is so fun to feed them golfish

  • wow they got big

  • scary fish O_O

  • That is a Tiger Oscar correct? its very nicely colored. My wife said she thinks they look diseased so she doesn't want one :( oh well, We get Arowana instead.

  • how do you get him to not eat the tiger barbs while he eats gold fish that are the same size??

  • u f*cking know-it-all! im smarter than u and im only 5!

  • Where do you buy oscars ive never seen one in a pet shop.

  • at petland

  • how long did it take for them to get 6/8 long mine are about 2 inches and i had them for about 2 and a half monthes and them dont seam to be growing !!!!!

  • Dont worry, they'll have an explosive growth rate soon. If well fed and tank is large they'll grow about an inch a month.

  • the tank is a 30 gallon and i feed them 2 times a day, feeder fish, flakes and pellets.i also have 2 jack dempsy, 1 african chiclid and a blue gourmai im thinking about upgrading to a 55 when the oscars and jacks get bigger.ther is allot of free space and 3 real plants.what can i do to make the tanh better and do you have eny tips or pointers. pleaswrite back!!!!!!

  • he mite have raised the tiger barbs with the oscar he her probaly out grown them so he knows whats food and what not

  • your tiger barbs are safe with those oscars?

  • so is my cock

  • well thats only half the size of mine

  • My oscar is 11 inches!!!

  • are those the two oscars in that one video where he ate the red tipped shark?

  • ur oscars r the same size as mine

  • someone is gonna eat that tiger barb also ....

  • why do you give your oscar feeder fish y0ur just increasing the diseases risk even higher not unless y0u bought healthy feeder fish

  • No. Do not put 2 oscars in a 55 gallon. Tank minimum is 55 for 1 oscar
