Using heat on your hair breaks the bonds so it can take shape.

Cooling it afterward will seal the bond in that shape.

They work great. :) & They make your hair feel smoother.

You could also straighten your hair better if you ran a a brush down your hair in front of the straightener, even better with a finer bristled brush, or one of those straightening brushes with 2 sides..
