I never used the puppies perk as I hardly found a use for it since you can always go back to you last save before Dogmeat and when you know a situation is too hairy to deal with for her, you can just have her stay behind...and I always make sure I have an additional follower with me to even out the odds better. IT JUST MAKES FUCKING SENSE!

Its probably sentinal prime was the prototype and Liberty prime will be the new enhanced Final version. God knows if THAT will make it to a DLC.
