I drove by Nazareth Speedway a while back and stopped to think back on all the memories I had there. A great, quirky little track. Wish someone who appreciates it for what it is would buy it and fix it up.
Does anyone wonder with the transition to digital and the ability to broadcast a series of channels instead of just 1 (1-1, 1-2, and so on) that we can make the coverage of channel 1 the main feed, channel 2, on boards only, and channel 3, an on demand listen to driver audio.
NASCAR does it, Indy should, and it would be cooler too.
Indycar needs Nazareth and Phoenix on their schedule to get away from the multiple cookie cutter Nascar ovals. I know Nazareth is currently in disarray but maybe Phoenix or Gateway or doable.
Penske sold the track to ISC. He did that to Michigan as well as California. ISC is basically the track ownership part of the France family that owns NASCAR.
Wow, how was this set up? The race on ESPN, and all the onboards on ESPN2?
I had once heard about this setup for NASCAR races years among years ago, and I'd love to see it come back, where the race is on ESPN (or ABC) and onboards are seen on ESPN2.
I have this race on DVD, and its just crazy to see the 3 Penske Cars have a 3 Lap lead over 4th position at the end...They were just so unstoppable pretty much in 1994
My favorite sound ever. A 2.65 liter turbocharged Indycar engine from the 90's. I miss this so much. Thanks for posting all these videos!

Nazareth is now for sale with one condition to the seller being that it will not be used as race track, only real estate development being permitted.
