@albinocify FLCL was odd, not like this but it was. Rozen Maiden is weird (and sucks), Cat soup is probably the weirdest. When they cry is insane too.
@MinusG God I love this animation. It's actually art instead of the usual 1~frame per second typical for anime. The perspective and stuff is obviously exaggerated but it looks amazing.
let me ecplain on more detail, -the ugly bald guy is a gangster/footballer and so is the guy with the glasses -hes a crazy guy and rapes the girl and then the girl asks the guy under the table (the main character) to save her -thats when the bald gangster approaches him and shoots him in the ass, -his gangster friend is ashamed and then embarrases him before shooting him -back to the guy who got shot... he goes to heaven and realises he has been a loser his whole life and is given 2 options...
he is told to go through door '2' but is so angry, he runs through door '1' and forces his way back to earth (well hes kind of allowd to go back to earth and is given a second chance) - he then changes the situation and stops the girl from getting raped and ends up running from the gangsters in a car chase and he is no longer scared after experienceing death and is determined to live life to the full as he takes risks ext... - there are eliments of comedy and the very end is hillarious..watch it
@philipanakwue What do you mean? He never gets to the point where he rapes her, he gets up when he hears nishi bein' a bitch on the floor before he has done anything if you pay attention to what he says to Nishi after he gets up.
@philipanakwue Never mind that last comment, what he say after getting up kind of makes unclear whether he has or not but notice when he gets up he does seem to be pulling clothes back over himself but his "Diapper-Like" bottoms are still up/on.

(SPOILER) The whole 'omg its a dream' imo has no relevance to the story except possibly to explain the impossible happenings within. However I did like the 'clips' in the beginning and end, which captures the essence of dreams pretty well.
I understand what you mean. personally, i hate the fact that foreign animations always get subjected to dubbing. My very first anime was dubbed in Korean, and I didn't knew the difference. I'm so glad that we live with DVDs. Yes, more options, the better.

Dub or Sub, who cares? I've seen bad Japanese dubs on non-Japanese films. We can't always expect ultra perfect job. How about English dubs on Japanese video games? So far, I haven't seen or met anyone complain about it.
I can't argue with someone who is bilingual Japanese-English speaker. I'm bilingual myself, but it doesn't make me expert on Japanese language. I hate to be pessimistic, everyone in the world makes bad dubs one way or the other because the native audio pre- establish itself into aduiences' mind. If you watched this movie in English and never heard it in Japanese, would you think it's a bad dubbing?
Actually, I'm a French-English bilingual. So, from early childhood, I've been used to watching shows in their native language (and being disgusted by the crappy translations they received). Watching english shows in french or french shows in english... just doesnt sit well with me. And, even if I'm not fluent in japanese, the same goes for anime.
Some movies HAVE gotten really good dubs before (kiki's delivery service comes to mind), but those are pleasant oddities.
