    Great Deal!!

  • @xXBriaLasherXx HAHAHAH!!! I got the SAME exact thing, but at Best Buy for 79.99!! :)

    bUT GREAT DEAL ANYWAYS!11

  • New book for Kindle "Your Life is a Business" 2.99 today. It's good.

  • should i get black or white

  • @strongman1800 Black. Because it makes you to concentrate on reading a lot more than white.

  • white version of Will Smith :)

  • is the 3g free

  • @bucks750 Nope, it cost like 100 or 150 dollars more.

  • @bucks750 Actually it is like 140 dollars for 3g and wi fi

  • @bucks750 Yes absolutely!

  • you do have to pay for sum books however they also offer alot of free ebooks especially the classics if your in to that time of novels. i have the k3wifi 3g and its awesome you should get one. c;

  • I don't understand what's so wonderful with electronic paper; I don't see much of a difference with an LCD without back illumination. Also, I don't see the advantage to reading without the uniform illumination of a backlight. Who knows, maybe I should see a Kindle personally instead of staying just with the video image?

  • What sim does the kindle use for 3g ? Does it charge if I use it for reading news and facebook and check my email also ? please answer guys. Thank you

  • I'd love a kindle, but amazon's ebook offerings in any language other than english is close to none, so...no.

  • do you have to pay for the books??? PLEASE SOMEONE ANSWER!!!

  • @missunstoppable1000 of course^^

  • @missunstoppable1000 Obviously?

  • @missunstoppable1000 Sry, I don't feed trolls :)

  • @MarrionTM hehe I thought you were offending me at first but when I saw the smiley face I was like never mind

  • I have the 3G version & it's great & very very quick. Easy to buy books & a very quick connection with the 3G, super fast. This version is also much safer since it's smaller, especially if you fall asleep in bed while reading if it falls onto your face you won't get a black eye lol

  • Can someone tell me if you can copy/paste PDFs on Kindle from computer?

And while browsing online, can you click a link and download a pdf to Kindle?

    Thank you.

  • Can you surf any web-page with kindle 3? or just wikipedia and the ones in the bookmark.

  • Can Kindle can access to oour own website to view the book online?

  • Gay

  • will the 3g work in canada or just wi-fi?

  • @thomasfisher24

3g is "worldwide," that is, wherever you can get 3g reception (without trees, tunnels, etc interfering) you can download books. Either the 3g or wireless is extremely slow when trying to surf the web, but that's not what the product is designed for.

  • I'm in the UK. My amazon store offers either the Kindle Wi-Fi or the Kindle 3G + Wi-Fi. Which is the thinnest and fastest? Thank you very much! ~

  • @MaddieKatz Don't quote me on this, but I think that the Kindle Wi-Fi version and the Kindle 3G + Wi-Fi version are the same size. The speed depends on your Wi-Fi Connection, but I think that Wi-Fi is faster than 3G speed if you have a reasonable internet connection. :)

  • Very nice video on this Kindle.

I have the NookColor with wifi which is awesome for reading and surfing the internet--and it also has Flash Player for watching movies, etc.

I 'm partial to it since I can see my photo portfolios in color.

The book downloads may take a short time before it arrives on Nook's bookshelf.

Also has new Apps, as well as Pandora.

It doesn't have Text to Speech.

I ordered this Kindle 3g with Wifi --I like the idea of text to speech,

and the ability to use it anywhere.

  • i rather have color.

  • haha! his name is will smith!

  • @AwesomeThangs U THINK HES GOT A BIG DONGLE?

  • Should I get Nook Color or Kindle 3?!?

  • Heehee. Will Smith.

  • wtf is epub format lol i dont think thats very popular if i never heard of it.

  • Imma buy it when they come out with a colored version.

  • I'm looking to upgrade eReaders (Got the older Sony Pocket Reader, the now-discontinued PRS-300). The DRM locking and lack of ePub support is the main reason I've shied away from Kindle so far. It is cheaper than the current Sony Pocket Reader (PRS-350) and widely used/supported though. Hmm, decisions.

  • 3:40 haha GAY walk !!!

  • @SteveCrank LOL that was his Imagination :P

  • @RatedRCodebreaker ,lol you see even in his imagination he is a GAY .puahah

  • LOOKING TO BUY IT OK COOL A FREE SIPPING AT

    NO BAGS GREEN. C O M

  • Respond to this video... 15%off on it A so good look 4w ww NOBAGSGREEN. COM

  • do you need a sim card to use the 3G?

  • If sony added 3g or wifi i think more people would of bought the sony pocket e-reader, for 3 pounds extra you can get the 3g kindle plus month lasting charge. Stupid sony

  • One of the biggest things keeping me from getting a Kindle is the lack of adding extra storage, sure 3500 books is good but i find on average the AVERAGE length of things is very smal, take a "song" on an iPod , they consider an average song 3 minutes. I am sure if your into Fantasy books which are often thousand pages you arnt getting 3500 books on it

  • @KevinPatrickCarey it has 3.3GB of storage, that's a lot of text bro. You are somewhat right, they want to advertise the best number they could get, but it's not horribly over exaggerated.

  • so without any light, you cannot read anything from the kindle?

  • @parkxi its like reading a normal book without light. Black light dammages your eyes thats why Dr's say don't stay on the pc longer than 1hr, the kindle has no back light so your eyes are safe so yes you need some sort of natural light to read.

  • Thank you. This was very helpful. I've wanted a Kindle since they first came out about four years ago, but the 400 buck price tag prevented me from buying one.

For me, I think the Kindle is the right choice. I know a lot say to get an Ipad instead. I'm not interested in all of theat. I'm a voracious reader who wants an alternative to a physical book because of clutter. I want a dedicated ereader that's easy on my eyes and my wallet and won't take a degree to work it.

  • @darsdoodles I have both. Kindle text is much easier on the eyes, and the battery life kicks butt.

  • Buy it now on Mahaffeyiti(dot)com for the cheapest price on the net !!!!

  • I am getting my Kindle 3G in the mail this week. SOOOOOOOOO EXCITED! SO MUcH BETTER FOR READING IN THE SUN THAN MY IPAD!

  • @lollipop1234ize There is no video but you can get books, magazines, newspapers, Games, MP3's(MP3's have to be downloaded from Mac or PC). It works well but I would not get the Lighted Leather Case that Amazon makes. It is overpriced and it doesn't hold your Kindle in a safe way.

  • @lollipop1234ize happy birthday

  • Comment removed

  • @lollipop1234ize get an iPhone

  • @lollipop1234ize Kid, you should be into books. Once you learn how to write properly, you can try some games too...

Oh, yeah - in case you can't understand English, the Kindle is nothing more but a digital book reading device, not a mumbo-jumbo to play and listen music or watch movies, doooh!

  • Youtube needs more video like yours and less spam/junk.

    Thanks a lot!

  • So what you're saying is that if i'm buying my first E-book reader then it should be the Kindle? Cool. Plus it comes with Free 3G and Wi-Fi!

  • how much memory do they have?

  • @BishopRealTalk98 4GB, with around 3 avaliable to the user. In general around 3500 ebooks of average length.

  • @chenj001

thanks. Just recived mine yesterday, and reading 'bag of Bones - Stephen King' on it now.

  • You're not Will Smith.

  • OR you can go to the library.

  • Thanks for that review was greatly apprecitated, informative, and clear. But one question, do you have to pay for the "3G" conncetion on the "3G + Wi-FI" Kindle?

  • @Dna12rex No

  • @Dna12rex Hey you dont have to pay for the wifi

  • @DFlynn23 Yeah I knew dat, wanted 2 know if u had 2 pay for da 3G connection, but safe (thanks) anyway.

  • @Dna12rex no, amazon pays for the 3g connection so its free to use

  • Your presentation is really succinct. I like that. Thank you.

  • does it read aloud??

  • @thebiz76 Yeah, he said it does but only certain books.

  • Excellent review! Very informative. : )

  • good review overall but you didn't say whether to get wifi or 3g - i can't decide. also your fat gut is disgusting.

  • @g1981c that was a bit uncalled for

  • yay thx now im getting two! :D

  • can you write using the kindle? I like to write a lot. Like very long stories. Is there a limited amount of typing allowed?

  • @luvkarate2 I don't think so. I'm pretty sure you can only use Amazon Store format books.

  • @luvkarate2 You're probably better off getting an inexpensive netbook. Kindle does not have anything in the way of a text editor. The qwerty keyboard on it is used for typing in keywords for Amazon/Wikipedia searches as well as annotations. Hope this helps :)

  • Cheers mate. Looked at quite a few reviews for the kindle and yours answered all my questions.

    Thanks.

  • Great review, keep it up.

  • Awesome review guys keep up the good work!!!!!!
