@morzee94 that wasnt really the reason. yes he became a teacher but that was during the time he left. woz founded another company after his departure at apple. it was a company that made universal remotes for televisions. made a good amount of money during that time. there are a lot of misconceptions about apple, steve jobs and woz. example steve never got fired from apple, he was demoted by the board and after that he left on his own freewill.

This guy's an engineer, unlike the other steve- a design flaw should stand out to a person like him and that's what it is. The iPhone antenna majigger is a serious design flaw (or just moronic if they knew of if), but, even though it can happen by accident, I believe that it only happens to a fraction of the users, and they can easily learn how to hold it.

Or don't speak it well. He's doing that so they can understand him better that's all. He doesn't care how he sounds, he just wants to make it easy for the audience.

He actually hides it sometimes, especially to kids. But believe me, he is. His physique? Well, he turned 60 two days ago. 1) Antenna is problematic, we all know it. It is worse than all other products, hence not acceptable. PR spin it all you like, it is problematic.

2) Apple accusing Microsoft on OS dominance is like Microsoft accusing Apple on iPod / iPhone dominance. So ironical that it is ironically funny.

iOS is fast approaching Windows like ubiquity, and has such a large lead over Android in apps it isn't funny.

My take?

Monopolies are inevitable, because most consumers don't pay attention to this kind of stuff and let it just happen. The small number of us who do pay attention don't have much of an impact.

IMO just buy whatever product you want, what will happen will happen.

@gibs2b i know but the signal problem only affects me when i want to call people and talk on the phone like other phones on the market. It is too good to ever return. screen is sharp and high density, fast processor, iMovie, very accurate GPS. Just too good to take back, i would just expect that it would make and hold a call like a phone should.
