@todd8137 I ask you about magnification, because it seemed to be more than 250x. ;) 2 weeks ago I bought a Sky-Watcher of 305mm truss-tube and i wait for good weather to test it. How rarely does it come good sky, I wish, however, to arrive at a magnification of 500x or 600x. Until then, my remarks will focus on other telescope, a 200mm GSO Dobson. Excuse my bad english! Clear sky to you! ;)
hmm :-? somehow i was expecting a lot more from a 12" scope i'd say my 4" mak does the job just as good, in similar seeing conditions. i can't wait for your next shot(s). and mine too :)
@notubeplease also i brought the 12" for dso`s the webcam is just for fun its the wrong mount and scope, mow the meade 90mm on a goto f 800mm, that can track forages and on the moon rock on heres to clear skies for 2012
@deaniepops hi thanks for watching, yes it was godd ish seing here set up left the 12" to cool takes a hour and a bit,i did use the fan i made towards the end but left it on at full power it ruined the video as theres minor vibration of the fan,i usally switch it of as the phillips web cam as a pc fan atched ,cowboy style but it works for me

That's awesome. Something really nice with the drift. So easy to forget that things move in the sky.

@notubeplease ,its a reflector with no barlow i would rather have a small image with more detail ,than a large image with no detail
