my ex and I broke up yesterday... I BALEETED Facebook entirely, meaning I don't have a non-anonymous online presence anymore. I have decided I will simply dissappear from her life, I mean her only way of contacting me is via my phone and I'll be changing my number soon anyway and simply "forget" to tell her.

when my ex broke up with me one of the first things i done was delete her from my phone and delete all messages out of anger. and then i went to facebook to delete her but when i seen her photo my heart sank and i just couldn't do it. i sat and stared thinking how beautiful she is. we are still friends but i am always wanting more. it hurts so much sometimes but she is my best friend. i have always been there for her and always will but she might find a guy one day and that kills me.
you're completely right. I tried to remain friends with my ex because I didn't take care of myself and I felt guilty...it ended up dragging out pain and anguish and a relationship/friendship that could have never worked in the first place for years. The only way you might ever be able to be friends with an ex again would be if you hadn't seen each other for several years...but even then that's a big "if".

I learned to cut all tides with my ex. After she broke up with me, I just learned to concentrate on me and what I had to do.
