I think you can change the gun position with cg_gunX or cg_gunY commands. Mine is on the regular position, but I think the resolution and cg_fov has something to do with it.

Good job. By the way, how do you change so the weapon is more to the right instead of the middle?. like it was in the classic quake 3 arena.
