I really don't care for the music thats on radio and televisions now days. Music now days should come with a warning label like, may cause Drowsiness, may cause headaches. Music at one point conveyed a message now rappers say anything for a few dollars rap has become one big huslte.
This was one of the realest Brothers to ever touch the Mic.....What happen to real Rap.....true story our Rap History is gone....because of bubble gum rappers...

@WhiskeyQS I've done my fair share of recommending dope classic hip-hop to whoever is open to it. @Twylite21 agreed bruh, it's sad and also heartbreaking. we true hiphop fans are fortunate enough to have lived at a time when hiphop was an art as opposed to a Business with a bad product, as it is today.
@Twylite21 It was never about color or age. Your only stating the obvious, and as long as we are only stating the obvious I have this to say.
Sky is blue, Ocean is blue, People are tiny bags of water held together by electrons, Everyone will eventually die, Everything will eventually be forgotten, The smallest is not the smallest, the largest is not the largest.
The past is cool, but in order for wack mcs to be eradicated they must be dissed on records, not youtube.
Im Dominican and this WAS/IS my joint. And I just loved the beat and the whole vibe of the song. I first heard it here in NYC on WBLS. I still remember my man telling me he thought it was Dove from De La Soul... lmao nothing in 2days music can touch this... NOTHING!! 90's HIP HOP all day!!!
@Twylite21 I'm 20 about to be 21 from Queens, New York and my opnion about Hip Hop is exactly the same, one love to real Hip Hop fans. the way Hip Hop is now is the worst innovation of the arts and the worst turning point of music in history. I can't believe my generation!!!! :O

Tell me about it, i was just chillin at home bots house and this white boy walks in all cocky telling me Big L is nothing, i was about to drop my 40 and sock this kid. talking about how hard Biggie Smalls is. and mainstream rappers. fuck that shit, dumb little pussies with no STYLE!
large p,kane,diamond d,rakim,krs,audio 2,doug e fresh,slick rick,tribe,de la, jb's, lord of the underground,brand nubian,kool g rap,busy bee,kool moe dee, L.A. sunshine,spoonie gee, furious 5,cold crush,fat boys,master ace,nas, dana dane,lyte,black moon and the wwbcc. real hip hop forever. NY forever
SP the ghost rapped in this beat. This is for a true Styles fan or for anybody that would know. What was the track called and what was the mixtape called???
Yo! If u're down with that ILL HIP HOP and/or that GANJAH, then u need 2 peep the ORIGINAL vids on my channel, like "Pass The Fluffy", "Zone Out", "Let Me Be Free", & "Roll It Up"! They will have you LUNCHIN', especially if u're BLAZED UP!!!!
take note, the difference between this music and the rap of today is the feeling. Just llisten to this song ,it evokes a kind of feeling that makes you think and ponder.
Not just dance and shake your ass to this but groove, nod your head to this.
I LUV THIS SONG,I DONT LIKE THE BACKGROUND DANCERS,THEY WACK,THEY NEED TO TAKE NOTE FROM "NEW EDITIONS" BACKUP DANCERS ESPECIALLY IN SONG "POISON" OR THE "FLY GIRL" DANCERS FROM "IN LIVIN COLOR" SHOULD BE IN THIS VIDEO,EVERYTIME I HEARD THIS SONG IT REMINDED ME OF THE FLYGIRL DANCERS,I COULD HAVE DONE A SOLO DANCE THAT I MADE UP AND DONE BETTER,THEY HAVE NO ENERGY,OVERALL EXCELLENT RAPPIN&HANDSOME MAN.
seriously!? hiphop is not dead. if you grew up with hiphop its always been underground, just like this song. keep serchin real hiphop heads its out there.
@swilson44 Thanks for that, I'm listening to it now and it's amazing. I've always loved "Wind Parade" by Donald Byrd, that song has been sampled so many times, it's rediculous: DJ Quik, Tupac, Black Moon, Organized Konfusion, the list goes on. Man, I miss Hip-Hop of the 90's, this is when music actually felt good, and was fun and informative at the same time. I don't know what that crap played on the radio today is, it's not even Rap, it's just plain retarded.
main source gave birth to the illest MC (in my opinion) to ever hold a mic. "when i was 12 i went to hell for snuffin jesus".. nasty nas up in ya area...RIP HIP HOP
this is damin' BANGING!!!

take note, the difference between this music and the rap of today is the feeling.
