I grew up with this stuff and I wish that more youngsters would get hip to this. Tired of all the decadent no talent bullshit that's around. It all sounds exactly the same. But this is music, and it takes real talent to sing it.

I am a 58 year old grandmother and Eli is the best new artist to come around since the 60's. He has the true heart and soul and talent! I love everything I have heard from him. Can't wait for his next album. He is also great at what people in my part of the country call Beach or Shaggin' Music down at Myrtle Beach, SC. We aren't all rednecks down here.

Out of all the various artists I've watched on Daryl's House, this is ONE that I do NOT like. He sings horribly, or shall I say.......yells !!!!!!!! Daryl Hall can sing ANYTHING and sound GREAT !!!!!!!!!!

@GenEdTeach7 listen to some of the people that sing the way he does before our time like little richard and a lot of old mo town/real rock and roll artists. thats where he gets his inspiration and he breathes it out so well. i mean listen to his last note. that is a wonderfully full vibrato backed up by an incredibly unique wide vocal tone. and daryl just being there makes it all the more amazing. this was a genius episode. then again, its all your opinion.
