Assalamu alaykum. Not really feeling the picture. Maa Shaa Allah the sister is dressed beautifully in full Islamic attire whilst the brother is dressed in tight fitting non-Islamic style clothing. When the kuffar say that Islam oppresses women pictures like this will only give them evidence to prove their opinion! May Allah guide us all, Ameen
@abuumaiyah wa alaikum asalaam.well the truth of the matter is the kufar needs to learn that most muslim women wear this dress for allah azawajallah and nothing else.for these sisters this is thier own personal uniform chosen for them by allah azawajallah and not thier husband. so we say to the kuffar ,go and ask a muslim women how she feels about her uniform regardless of what her husband wears . when i was non muslim i never thought they were opressed. thats for the closed minded individuals
pt2} so basically at that point the closed minded will always look for something negative whether the husband is dressed along with his wife in islamic attire or not. however i will say that the man should wear his garments as well for his own benefit as a way of helping him get closer to allah.the more we do things for other peoples pleasure the less rewards we will get .a women should dress for the sake of allah and likewise a man should as well instead of dressing to defuse a misconception
pt3 so with that being being said i dont think that the picture has any real affect either way .the ignorant will be ignorant no matter what..allah says"khatamah lahu alaa qulbihimm wa alaas samiheem wa alaa absarihim !"allah has placed a seal on thier hearts hearing and sight" so at this point i could post a picture of a brother with a thawb tuban and the whole 9 .. but it will make no difference to the people that allah azawajallah mentioned above. lol although i would hav chosen another pic
pt4 if i could do it over again because i think i could of put up a amore artistic pic . but the vid has been up for a few years now i would hate to remove it after so many have heard it and favorited it ..mashallah ..wa barakahlahu feek .
@cdwillingboro Yes, maasha Allah your correct. But also we should be teaching and emphasising the importance of correct dress code to our brothers as well a our sisters. It's "ok" for a brother to put on a shirt an trousers when he goes to the office to work but as soon a our sisters slack on their dress code we jump on her back and be harsh with her. This pic kinda represents that in my opinion. It is not from the Sunnah to be one sided like this.
inshaallah when i get married my wife will have the same mindset as you because we are plagued by women who want to disregard the sunnah and we need more who love and follow it as well as brothers
That's becuse you judge matters like how you were probally raised and how the society view's the status of men and women.. But if you look at the legislation sent by God you will see the truth about the matter... The believing women don't want to expose her feet or legs on the beach
I am a muslim women. I have not been muslim all my life but since i've been muslim and fellow the islamic dress code for women i don't receive the sexual harassment that women get when they come out the house uncovered. And i know because i use to get it a lot in tight clothes and clothes that reveal myself to the world. So yes it is fair because Allah gave us women this dress code because a mens nature is aggressive towards sex just like a dog when he's in heat he'll hump everything.
And also look at any male( human or animal) they send there time chasing females. You come out the house dress half naked you are putting yourself at risk of being raped and harassed . And it causes all the problems that plague our society such as extramarital affairs, unwanted pregnancies, diseases, single parent families because the man just wanted to have sex but the woman get pregnant he got what he wanted and he's out the picture chasing some more women so she is a single mom.
So therefore the dress code is to protect us from these evils that plague society. The best and only way to dress is to follow the islamic dress that our creature has given us. You don't want to bring evil and harem to yourself like the women who go out the house naked and half dressed,the booty shakes on youtube, and the celebrities who dress naked and half dressed.
