Ah man... I had to give this a favourite, I'm not a huge fan of the new spawns, I wouldn't say that they're better or worse now, but it's because they were changed because of so many inexperienced players being a little ignorant with their claims that it's stupid. 5 stars for the video though.
This is really informative. I never could beat a team when I was blue spawn, but the knowledge really does have a huge effect. I'm a pretty unexperienced player, but knowing spawn points and such has helped me take down Generals and the such. Guess it's time to study the Forge maps
yeah I just played with one of the swat kings named like luigi or something like that and my team quit very early and it was a 1v4 and they still spawn trapped me, sound whored and continuously tea bagged my dead body the entire game acting like they were getting nice kills on me or something like that wen in reality they were teaming me the whole game and camping in corners waiting for me to come by. Sorry but that game made me loose respect for your team
We recently decided that any team that plays RB when we're blue spawn on pinnacle has to automatically forfeit. I mean, come on kid, bwwaaaa wrote the freakin bible!
hey bwwaaaa, i have watched this video and used it ALOT to great effect, until yesterday, when as red, i set up on banshee (after my teammate stole my overkill exterm X_X) and my two other teammates set up on small. immediately afterwards, as we attempted to spawntrap, a blue guy somehow came up behind me on banshee and killed me. I was like WTF? then it got weirder. I spawned in blue initial. yeah, 343 must have updated the map so the spawns are neutral, making this video nearly useless :(

Nice vid bwwaaa. I liked your opinion on this particular map. I do think that you need a few good players on your team to do this though. Playing against randies blue spawn you would hardly need this information, but it's good to get the information out there to people who always vote against it BECAUSE they're blue spawn. i agree with most of your points. there's a lot of ways to do well on blue team. i just think it's not fair that a team can have a view on EVERY one of your spawns. maybe most or places BY your spawn. red team has a vantage point on your spartan the moment they pop into existence.

@antscustomcomputers I call false on this. Not a chance in the world. Say there were 5 clones of me searching in SWAT. 4 bwwaaaas in a team, 1 bwwaaaa going solo. The 1 solo gets put on blue spawn, the 4 on red spawn. The 4 bwwaaaas on would win every single game on red spawn. Even if there was 1 bwwaaaa on the other team that knew what he was doing, the other 3 randoms would lose the game for him. Every time, without fail, all of my money on red team bwwaaaas.
@bwwaaaa This little rant of bwwaaa's made me laugh, and you're right bwwaaa. I rarely go negative on blue team, even against GB kids. It's my randoms who usually end up losing on the blue spawn. I just watched the vid, but I've been implementing the tactics for awhile, the tower is an Alamo. I try to hold it to kill the spawn killers, then grab ahold of the map. But with randies not even getting out of the five second respawn, I can only do so much alone.

@TheJimster888 my recommendations are based on what works. Playing with a team works, so do it. Being a lone wolf doesn't work, so don't do it.

Depends of your team-mates, your communication and the skill of opposing team + their communication. Honestly, i think that 2 good teams of 4 all using mics, its 60% advantage if you are the red team. Altought blue team spawns seem unfair compared to the red team spawns, there is only a 1 spot more for the red team to spawn. Blue: Top rockets Bridge / Elbow Black box Nest Red: Tower 2 ledge Lower bridge Below shotgun Tower 1 / Lower bridge enterance Tower 3 I may use different names.

Has anybody heard anything about the halo 3 servers being shut down? I'm being told by an unreliable source (a friend) that it's shutting in April! I've been out for about 3 months and coming back felt so good, and then I hear this! He was saying that a friend read it in bungie.net. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!
@Abs9106 I was personally very disappointed. As a zerg I look for two things: Easily defendable nat, and an easy to take third. None of those maps fit that criteria. Most of them have Metalopolis/Xel Naga Caverns style naturals that give hellions full access to my mineral lines, and that makes me rage pretty hard lol.
I remember the good ol Brood War days where I could hatch first and fend off Marine Medic pressure with just a good number of sunkens. Not possible in this game.
@bwwaaaa Yeah. New maps, same problems. most other people agree about the blizzard ones. Although the new gsl maps are most definitely awesome. Very large macro maps with some really interesting features. I would check them out if i were you.
But yeah zergs are having are hard time right now. Especially against protoss i would say. Void ray collosus is pretty unstoppable when done right.
Maybe think about streaming sc2 every now and then if there's enough people interested?

really great video, bwwaaaa. Maybe for future videos, you could do a quick 30 second summary of the different setups you suggest since these will probably be pretty long. Also, I wasn't counting, but it seemed to me like you suggested more than 4 spots for blue team...which ones work best together? Also, in your last video, you had a guy running around in big tower. Is that a good idea or was he just doing that cuz they sucked?
@jhsi2002 yeah that was the one position I forgot about (I shoulda made a script for myself). I'll say that it's not necessary, but if you're blue team and you can get a guy top tower it is great because you can apply pressure looking down on B1 and B2 flat, and also add a lot of dominance to top mid.

@precast121 the leader of Obey left our team, but before he did he removed all of our abilities to challenge other teams or accept challenges, effectively making us unable to play any matches or edit our roster. He left and killed us on the way out, so those of us remaining on Obey had no choice but to leave.

If im blue spawn I always go for teleporter and grab the sniper near small tower, Or i go for DMR on banshee.
If I'm red spawn i either rush sniper below red tower. Or i fall back for the DMR on B2.

@bwwaaaa Yeah. New maps, same problems. most other people agree about the blizzard ones. Although the new gsl maps are most definitely awesome. Very large macro maps with some really interesting features. I would check them out if i were you.
But yeah zergs are having are hard time right now. Especially against protoss i would say. Void ray collosus is pretty unstoppable when done right.
Maybe think about streaming sc2 every now and then if there's enough people interested?

really great video, bwwaaaa. Maybe for future videos, you could do a quick 30 second summary of the different setups you suggest since these will probably be pretty long. Also, I wasn't counting, but it seemed to me like you suggested more than 4 spots for blue team...which ones work best together? Also, in your last video, you had a guy running around in big tower. Is that a good idea or was he just doing that cuz they sucked?

@jhsi2002 yeah that was the one position I forgot about (I shoulda made a script for myself). I'll say that it's not necessary, but if you're blue team and you can get a guy top tower it is great because you can apply pressure looking down on B1 and B2 flat, and also add a lot of dominance to top mid.
And of course Lint runs it like a champ.

8:04 that was my comment, I assure you I didn't change my voice in order to make it ;) My actual point was it's better to be able to slow the pace of the game down than to get spawn killed.Don't be thinking I don't like your video bwwaaaa, I do, but I just can't agree with you on this one.It's the views of the spawns that does it for me. As I mentioned in our discussion on your last video, you can see so many spawns when you spawn kill the blue team, but you are limited to one each as the Blues.

@precast121 the leader of Obey left our team, but before he did he removed all of our abilities to challenge other teams or accept challenges, effectively making us unable to play any matches or edit our roster. He left and killed us on the way out, so those of us remaining on Obey had no choice but to leave.

I give up on Reach. I get spawn killed in almost every map. It's pretty hard to get set up due to most people playing Black Ops on my friends list.

@fawkes968 Spawn killing is going to happen either way. If they are spawn killing, dig in and use it against them.. make them come to you and offensively defend your spawn to drive them out.
