this is just one way to look at these lyrics though, if you think about it in a different way as in he loves her so much that he couldnt live without her no matter what, it depends on alot how you look at things, i understand your side but think of it in a way like that thats more so why people would think it about relationships, the lyrics probably arent meant to be literate but instead metaphorically, my apoligies if theyre supposed to be literate but thats just how it usually is.
