  • At first I thought this song was about death, like the song Humbling River. After watching Blood Into Wine, I now believe it's about finding your true place in this world, and that, in essence, you don't really choose where you belong, it chooses you.

  • @MrDrRoadhouse Great interpretation. You may be correct!

  • impressive,genious,inspired,Replay!

  • Weigh your worth before her majesty,

    the Verde river.

  • Maynard James Keenan He should be a new name hmmmmmm How about The Master ?

  • i thought puscifer was just a joke to rub in people's faces......but after hearing the album theres some really good songs on there

  • The words are so simple yet so powerful. There isn't a song that Maynard writes that doesn't speak to people. So talented, different, creative, smart. He makes it seem so effortless. Never disappoints! Well done sir!!!

  • 2:06 = boner

  • My most heard album in 2011. Runs countless times in my player...simply amazing sound by Keenan and a whole bunch of guest stars like the Bat for Lashes beauty

  • WEIGH YOUR WORTH BEFORE HER MAJESTY THE VERDE RIVER.

  • If beauty had a sound this is what it would sound like the power of his voise well your here you know what I'm saying Hail Maynred!! And any other music that has the power to stand for something.

  • Get your Mind in a creative mode - Artists are here to show you new ideas, not to conform to what the fk you are used to. This is genious

  • weird song. i dont like it. sounds kinda like a cheesy irish folksong. something your music teacher in school would let the people sing in class back in the day. what sha'll we do with a drunken sailour ahaha its pretty obvious they were trying to make it big with that album on a commercial level. well i would go that far to say this song is just as good as the lemon tree song.

  • @OneWorldGoverment86 Its more about the message. Puscifer is also not concerned with becoming commercialized. It is the reason they are only doing shows in small venues. Maynard laid it all out before the show. Go see one, more than worth it.

  • @Tyrannabudz Agreed. And seeing them live in the front row was incredible. Got Maynard spit on me. :P

  • @OneWorldGoverment86 You think Maynard gives a fuck about making it on a commercial level? He can do it himself with next to no effort. They don't advertise for shit, they ship out the albums by hand. He has enough success without Puscifer that he doesn't need the help. It's about the music, the message and the love of doing what he does. He drinks wine and spends time creating beautiful music with friends while analyzing the world. That's what it's all about. And this song is incredible.

  • @HTonning88 lol he drinks his shitty ass american wine and tries to figure out the world...yeah right. he tried to get big on the billboard charts with this record and make millions of dollars. look how many advertising they made for it. even i looked it up once i saw the placards all over the subway stations. well i checked his other band...tool they have some incredible songs but this band does nothing to me except the title track.

  • This song is fuckin awesome.

  • Beauty of self reflection. strangers to ourselves.

  • Oh Man.........Haunting Good!

  • wonderful

  • a fucking mazing from the first note to the last. in concert, a masterpiece...if you missed it, my condolences.

  • this album is a fuckin masterpiece. epic from first play... wtf is this growin on you BS?!

  • I just effin love from 2:07 and on

  • @licensed I just effin love from 0:00 and on

  • this guy didnt even tag "green" or "valley" for this song....took me awhile to find it ><

  • Super epic. Best on the album, one of the best ever!

  • my guess is Maynard IS acid.

  • Maynard was made for acid

  • this song is cool on acid!

  • if you like the way this sounds, SEE THEM LIVE! its even better! Jesus I love this!

  • the only thing to do after listening to this beautiful song is to pack your bag and go out and experience the nature.

  • @tgroggi2 i have war inside,so this song calling me into war outside

  • @elstupidoification nothing from acid.war is draining my energy,so i gonna try 2 save my energy, my journey here is far from over

  • perfect

  • My daughter brought me to your show in Massachesettes, you are brilliant and so is she for bringing me...

  • Just 35 000 views?

  • I feel the same way i listen to this song all day every day!

  • i just heard this for the first time and my body literally became cold and tingly ...it's so rare that a song physically comes over me like that. for this, i am thankful.

  • I saw Puscifer at the first stop on the tour and this song and Dozo were awesome

  • Nov 30th they will be in ATL. awwww to the YEAAAAA! I will be there . Anyone else here had a chance to go to a show?

  • @mooreevair : Saw them in Cleveland last week. There is seriously no way to overhype this performance. To call what I saw a "concert" would be both a misnomer and an insult. It was seriously one of the most captivating, mesmerizing, funny, touching, original performances I've ever witnessed. I love Tool and APC but this show blew them both out of the water. I'm so jealous that you are going to see them in a few days.

  • Seven people haven't walked the green valley.

  • Puscifer opened the St. Louis set with this. He and Corina Round just blew me away. I'm in a River town myself that flooded when I was a child...makes the lyrics powerful. "No Direction but, a Faith in Her Decision" Beautiful. Just beautiful.

  • They started the Denver show with this song. Much more intense live. Loved it

  • @CRAZYASS4EVER I saw the show in Denver, and I thought I was in love with the album before hand... but seeing it live blew my mind - and Man Overboard and Horizons with real drums? Sexy.

  • I'm very grateful that I got to hear this album live two nights ago.

  • Maynard James Keenan is........awesome.....amazing....

  • i did i actually introduced myself like i didnt knnow him cause i know he hates it he introduced himself as james.

  • swine and carrots. Come tell. NOT that the language matters. State maybe maynard could be something to pr0ve a point. I dont know. ReaD. or somethng.

  • @nerobinson2806 dude, r u on acid?

  • MJK masterpiece, I can't stop pushing replay

  • Oh maynard <3

  • I live in the verde valley, near hjerome where maynard lives i saw him at paul and jerrys bar in jerome.

  • @lokidionysian lucky, bet u didn't have the balls to talk to him

  • I`m on a White Widow adventure, Oh by the way which ones.........

  • 'No direction but to follow what you know'

  • this song is penis in vagina good

  • Comment removed

  • Two people are crazy!!

  • 2 people forgot to put on diapers before pressing play...

  • This song hits me right in the gut. Both powerful and bittersweet. When I drive to work in this cold and bleak norwegian autumn while Maynards wisdom is hammering and chanting through my system I kinda get a feeling of sadness mixed with a feeling that everything will be allright. Surrender to the river and be guided by... well, your inner voice. That at least, is my personal voyage when I listen with my heart. Again I am dumbfounded by this artists ability to move me with his visions. Thanx.

  • maynard = wisdom

  • @superjointritual6660 Maynard is indeed Wisdom spelled backwards.

  • No direction but to never fight her flow.

  • I loved V is for Vagina a ton (and still do), and I've invested a ton of emotion and time listening to it while driving around and hanging out with friends, but with repeated listens to this album, I'm slowly coming to terms that Conditions is a better album! It almost makes me feel a little sad, I'm feeling almost obliged to bond with this album more than the previous one, which seems like quite a hard feat, though I don't think it will be unenjoyable by any means :)

  • This is so beautiful......

  • Well, this is going to be the second song that's gonna be played on my funeral.

  • Maynard delivered on this album. Holy shit this album rules.

  • Am I the only person who thinks it sounds sort of like APC + NIN's The Fragile album?

  • @xXxXTheDarkWolfXxXx Yeah i did exhaustive research and it is just you.... No I was thinking some of the songs have that Trent Reznor feel to them

  • Maynard... it's amazing to hear your voice in new music. All is right in the world.

  • My Cuntry boner, it wont go down... well done Maynard. Album was quite amazing. Surpasses the last one.

  • i love this song <3

  • This song brings tears to my eyes...

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!! can't wait to get this cd 2morrow...

  • Someone needs to post these tabs.

  • i love you maynard

  • most of these songs will grow on you .. but for now this song has infected my brain. I must play it over and over.

  • @mooreevair I hear ya there bro.

  • @mooreevair so true! since i heard it i need to hear it every 2 hours! especially when it kicks in at 2:05...fuckin awesomeness!

  • @mooreevair

    The same here... completely stuck

  • @mooreevair It's like a poison, in the best possible way. I literally FEEL like I am going to the verde river tomorrow morning at the crack of dawn.

  • @mooreevair exactly

  • @mooreevair i agree... i just saw them last them last night and this song got to me . i get chills as i listen to it.

  • @mooreevair I agree with you there buddy. I started listening to this album while at work, not paying much attention, then soon I found myself thinking about it when I was at home, longing to hear this song and several others. Great album, great band, with this music, life is good!

  • You're a stranger til she whispers you can stay.

You're a stranger til she whispers that your journey's over.

    amazing!!

    Long Live Maynard!

  • Carina Round is harmonizing, not his son.

  • Hello stranger, Can you tell us where you've been? More importantly, How ever did you come to be here? Though a stranger, You can rest here for a while. But save your energy, Your journey here is far from over. Come the sunrise, We'll descend through Judgement Valley And weigh your worth Before her majesty, the Verde River. Awesome lyrics!
  • @Stinkfist43 nice username :)

  • It's the great Carina Round singing harmonies. Devo Keenan is a cellist. Anyway, favorite song on the album by far.

  • so far everything i've heard from this album is great music.

  • Instant new favourite song.

  • the preview to this song didn't do it justice, thanks for uploading.

  • @MartyrLoserKing None of the previews did them justice. Like the Rapture.

  • It;s his son singing with him?

  • this could totally be the soundtrack to some cool new movie.

  • how long ago this come out? this is his son singing isnt it? love everything by maynard, EVERYthing. he could make a fergie song sound good. thats amazing

  • thanks for posting
