so you cant change your characters face or even hair or smthn? well that sucks big time. what i love in rpgs is the ability to make the character as you want it and oblivion has the best (according to what i ve played) and most detailed character creation(appearance-wise) nwn 2 too was good. anyway i will try the game but i consider this a huge drawback. whats the point of playing with an already made character face when i can make him look bad ass?
If you are in to the D&D CRPGs then you'll find a lot to like in this game. Good visuals, high production values, deep but not overly complicated combat system. The only real downside is that the story and quests are very traditional and one could say that makes them boring. Still, I recommend this to all fans of the genre.
If you buy it together, how will you both play? There is a CD check. I guess its better you buy it and crack it then just pirate the thing in the first place though. Sigh.
A lot of people use cracks on their legit games. i don't like having to use the CD every time I wanna play. Makers should know this, instead they force us to use pirate-style techniques on games we legit own.
@BearBoi69 Yes except you aren't planning on owning a legit copy really, you are going to split the cost of a single copy w/your friend then crack it so you can both use a single copy. That is piracy as much as just downloading.
Yes, what you said could happen, but that is in no way what I was talking about. By your logic anything that could be potentially abused for criminal purposes should be banned.
I was specifically speaking about people who buy legit copies of games and then are so annoyed by forced CD checks, or required internet connections for single-player games (like AC2, Settlers7, etc) that they turn to pirate cracks to circumvent it. It is just a hassle to legit owners.
is it install?

@mygaffer This isn't D&D though.
It's based on Drakensang, another PnP based thing apparently well-known in Germany.
