thanks god i went to school, maths was nice, english was nice, biology was nice,science was nice,but there is nothing that makes remember school, than doing plays, like sizwe banzi, sophiatown, saturday night at the palace, you name them the island....thanks for the good school days. coz this is what i'm doing in germany,doing plays with refugees, inspired by the greats,our grandfathers and fathers&mothers of south africa.love this country. how can i forget, bushman&lena, master harold&the boys.

This is much better than the BBC version on the market for a lot of money and without the initial monologue!

It should be re-realeased or made available in its entirety: it is part of theatre history.

I saw this play live in about 1979, and it politicized me- a few years later, in university, I was pretty active in the local anti-apartheid group here in Ottawa.

This play blew my mind when I was in high school!
