I believe robots will remain dumb until scientists are able to map the human brain and simulate it. That's a hell of a lot of processing power needed, beyond what we have today.

@leerees There are some guys that are working on that. I think it was about 50 000 laptops they needed to simulate the brain lol. Mapping the brain is the worst, we need better imaging techniques, much better. With what we got now we can see all the connections, but there are so many that for humans to manually map everyone of them would be an impossible task, it has to be automated.
