This is why you should check up fighters records and see their fights before making predictions. Watch any of Overeem's recent highlights (2007-2011) and you can see he is one mean wrecking machine. And don't give me this BS about his kickboxing career doesn't matter. 50% of an MMA match is kickboxing/muay thay and all the fights start standing up. An elite striker with good TDD can do very well in MMA. Just look at JDS. Beside that Overeem has also good grappling and he's huge.

how can anyone go for brock in this after brocks last fight when he gased out in 2 min and was falling all over the ring. that was absolutly pathetic. and the one before that i dont kno how he won he musta had an angle looking out for him in that carwin fight. he got his head beat in there as well.

While I respect anyone getting in the cage in fight their hearts out. I pray that Fitch does not ever become the champion. I mean the Welter Weight division has really suck with GSP as the champion. Anyone here remember anything memorable happening within the last 2 years, Of course not, Not since Serra pulled the upset. With that said I take Overeem by TKO 1st round and Diaz by Submission in the second. Just saying :D

I don't know, I really think that Lesnar would not be able to hang with Alistair, not only that but I think "ring rust" will come into play. When anyone predicts a Fitch fight, it can only go to decision. That's why he will never be a title-contender. No one wants to see him fight.
You are so wrong about Lesnar tho, Overeem is on a completely different level than Lesnar. He is gonna smash him like he did Rogers. Gotta be real tho, there's always that question of heart with Overeem, and his gastank, after seeing the Werdum fight.
Overeem will finish him within 2 rounds. Fight is on Friday, at a completely weird time.
