It will look fairly close, but obviously featuring lower resolution. This will save a lot of power for the Wii to display MANY of the so called "next gen" graphical effects. Such as normal and bump mapping, shaders and some great overall particle effects and textures. This game will look fairly close. The Wii is not that terrible. It features almost 100 mb ram. It makes it considerably more powerful than the original xbox. Which means that it could run half life 2 easily. Not bad.

i think Conduit is proving its more about what engine the game is using then what graphics card the game is being built for. cuz the difference between COD5(wii) n Conduit is the engine but conduit looks alot better. n YES COD5 Wii was made seperate from the 360 n ps3 version. meaning u had a hole dev team dedicated to wii while 360 n ps3 had the same ppl working on the game. meaning COD5 wii is NOT a cheap copy of 360 with downgraded graphics. Wii has different glitchs n theres a vid telling u.

Thats true. The Quantum3 engine enables for a pletora of next gen effects on the Wii. Normal and Bump Mapping being just two. I'm totally confident this game will look beautiful on 480P when it gets even more polished graphics-wise. I'm just not too confident on the artistic side of it. It seems not that great. After seeing Gears 2 and Resistance 2, I'm quite worried about the art design in this game. I hope I'm proven wrong though...

That's true, but its also true that technically tweaking graphics is considerably easier than having the artistic (and proficiency to draw it properly) creative inspiration for great art design and stuff. I have some faith though. High Voltage deserves the biggest props for their labor of love. Wii need it, GOD DAMNIT! A respectful third-party game for the hardcore! Hallelujah! :]

ps3 is just a watered down 360 right now. it might be good some time in the future, but right now there aren't enough exclusives to make it worth the cost. so if the conduit ends up sucking, i think you should go with the 360.

yay. Conduit got a publisher. SEGA. lol n all u people are going to be pleased that SEGA is interested in getting a Sequal to the Conduit.

According to Eric Nofsinger, the chosen publisher was open to the idea of a sequel to The Conduit, and High Voltage Software regards the game as the first in a potential franchise, saying "I think people are going to feel like they got their moneys worth [with The Conduit], but weve got a big ol universe of stories that we want to tell."

My point is that it's a shame that the games that's the most technically impressive on Wii has so-so artists working on it. High Voltage have worked incredibly hard to push the Wii and surpassed even Nintendo itself yet the games may still not look quite as good as the likes of Metroid 3 simply because of the artwork.

Well the game is going for realism, so the developers don't have a lot of freedom with the art. Metroid Prime 3 was set in the future, so the artists had much more freedom with how everything should look. A realistic game can only look as good as its tech allows.
