meinen hab ich mit 220tkm verkauft. Prinzipiell, wenn man das richtige Öl fährt, immer brav warm fährt: erst ab 98°C Öltemperatur das volle Drehzahlband ausnutzt, und ansonsten auch alles schön pflegt ist das kein Problem. Das Problem sind immer nur diese hirnlosen Assis und Vollproleten, welche den kalten Motor treten, dann ists bei 100tkm schon oft vorbei mit der Leistung.

@DerPfoertner 100000? Ich hab mal nen 1600er YN-Passat-Motor mit nur einem tritt ins Jenseits befördert. Bei minus 10 Grad den kalten Motor bis auf 7000 hoch und er lief fortan nur noch auf 3 Pötten. Weiß nicht, wie viele Kolbenringe sich da verabschideten ;)

War aber egal, war eh die letzte Fahrt zum Schrottplatz, normalerweise mach ich den Scheiß nicht, da konnte ich mir den Spass mal leisten.

Aber wer immer so hirnlos fährt wie du sagst, der killt ihn oft schon bei weniger als 100000

@schubidubap hatten das auto quasi "seit seiner geburt" und ja, der leistungsverlust war schon enorm... vergleichbar mit alten bmw's.... aber vw hat da gut was gemacht (auch wenn ich kein vw fan bin)... mein grossvater faehrt momentan nen golf 5 2.0 TDI und da ist es schon GANZ was anderes... obwohl ich ihm mittlerweile knapp 100.000km draufgefahren habe (er auch nochmal so 60.000) ist kein Leistungsverlust im geringsten spuehrbar ... einfach nur geil und dsg toppt halt alles ;)

Ich mußte meinen Pasat 1,6l 75 Ps Bj 84 mit 225ooo km leider abgeben, wegen der scheiß plakette!

Es kommt immer darauf an, wie man das Auto fährt und pflegt.

@ericsonbesitzer Typisches VR6 Phänomen dass die Motoren kaum über 70° Wasser kommen wenn man gesittet damit fährt. Außerdem kannst du dich auf das Schätzeisen da im A-Brett sowieso nicht verlassen ;)

@platinum07797 na ja, typisch? ein vr6 ist eher typisch für ein hitzeproblem... das geht aus der motorbauart hervor... im kfz sind motoren aber so gebaut, das immer 90°C als Betriebstemperatur eingestellt werden...

wird das nicht erreicht, ist meist das termostat permanent offen -> heist das der grose kühlgreislauf immer offen ist und deswegen die temperatur nicht erreicht wird! folge: höherer verschleis an den zylinderlaufbahnen

Hat sich VW eigentlich mal dazu geäußert, weshalb man den Kilometerzähler der Tachos so "sparsam" eingestellt hat ? Die gewährte lebenslange Mobilitätsgarantie (Mercedes gewährt nur 30 Jahre, BMW sogar nur 5 !) ist andererseits dagegen doch überhaupt nicht sparsam (?).

Mein Golf III ist jetzt 13 Jahre alt und ich freue mich schon darauf, eines Tages mal die Garantie in Anspruch nehmen zu können...:) BMW z.B. hat offensichtlich kein Vertrauen zu den eigenen Produkten (?).

@treblefan77 Da gäbe es reichlich Autoproduzenten aufzuzählen, die mit Garantieverspechen sehr sparsam sind. Zu BMW: Die sind z.B. dafür bekannt, dass sie für ihre Neuwagen nur zwei Jahre Gewährleistung anstelle der üblichen Garantie bieten !

Wer sich einen Neuwagen anschaffen will, sollte m.E. grundsätzlich nach diesen Dingen fragen.

it's normal issue in golf 3, the factory made it like this - when you reach 300 k kilometers the "TOTAL" word dissapears and the couter starts from 0 :) but why? i don't know, maybe they didn't want anyone to see how exhausted is the car, it looks a lot worser to have for eg. 450 k total than 150 k :)
