Cats hate bells on collars. It destroys their natural sense of hearing. It'd be like someone shining a bright light in your face as you tried walking around. Take it off. It serves no purpose other than amusing you and angering your cat.
@ladyjennalyn My cat has one and she is an outdoor cat, She didn't react at all she didn't care :P And actually it will help them get better at hunting because they learn to be even more stealthy to make the bell not ring
Yes, in the same way that handcuffing people before they walk around in public will prevent street brawls?
Cats are hunters; if you allow them to be outdoor cats, they will hunt!

@ladyjennalyn actually it stops them from kiling things (e.g. brids, possums ect...)
