My personal favorite song by the Monkees. Whoever wrote this song originally was really having an inspirational moment. It almost comes across like a charged Buffalo Springfield/Crosby Still & Nash number.

Jerry Blavit is a riot! He has some awesome cd's out now if you like oldies. Well worth checking out. This was indeed the final episode filmed. I also like the song that Davy and Charlie Smalls are working on at the end of the show.

@TTTrixie The Monkees entered into a contest, but in order for them to enter, they had to make their group a mixed group (guys and girls). The Monkees (except Davy) voted for him to be the girl. Why you see him keep running away - he was getting too embarrassed to be seen. Then later, you see Jerry, the MC, chasing after him thinking he was a real girl.
