u can beat the black knight just go up to the fire bomb guys and stand on the ledge and he just spins in a circle

You forgot to mention the lizard in the tower right before the boss... he is hidden in one of the barrels or boxes two floors below the boss (or was it 1 floor below)...

@fidgetwidget It's important to remember that, just like Demon's Souls, the geckos in this game DO NOT respawn. Either you kill them the first time it's around or it runs away, never to be seen again. The gecko Fidget is referring to is on the second landing of the last tower here and is hidden behind some barrels.

Please up vote FidgetWidget's comment. Geckos always drop good crafting components that come in handy in the mid- to late-game.

I killed the Black Knight as a Pyromancer with four fireballs. He's actually really easy.

I've killed every Black Knight I've come across in the game so far the first time I've encountered them, using the same class as you, Sorcerer. It's totally doable, just learn to use your magic wisely. I mostly use a Spear/Shield on regular enemies and save the magic for bosses and special enemies like the Knights. Buy the Heavy Soul Arrow from the merchant near New Londo Ruins, and you can take down any heavy enemy with some well placed shots.

On the level with the fog to the boss there is a crystal lizard in the rightmost barrel. Also don't say you CAN'T defeat the black knights.

Other than that I liked it!
