  • With the 317 in one hand and the Alaskan in the other, you would look like a fiddler crab.

  • Hello. I assume you have a spring kit installed into you S&W 317. Did you do the work yourself and if so was it difficult? You know what would make a really nice video is if you could show us how the operation took place including a step by step process. I am considering the 317 as a next purchase. I already have the 442 .38 spec. Thank You. sincerely, JAMES.

  • that is a video i should do, but it would be a big project to do it and show it properly, its not hard to do or i probally wont do it, it takes 20-30 min and patients

  • Oh yes - It is indeed a story that is needed to be told. You could get some good ideas on above camera angles from kickedintheballs2000 and also there was this video I just watched last night that showed how to take the lock off a S&W revolver - close up - used tools - very slow and patient and I think he was able to pull it off in maybe 15 minutes - but we would be very happy if yours tool 20-30 minutes and we know you have the patience of JOB. Please and Thank you. Sincerely, JAMES.

  • Nice range gentlemen.
