We have had our Corn since he was 5 months and he had shed before we bought him . He had been dull for a couple of weeks and two days before new years eve his eyes went cloudy blue. When I came back from celebrating nye so early new years day lol Dexters eyes were clear , we kept his humidity med to high for a couple of weeks before hand . Woke up this morning to a beautiful full length shed . So happy it was completely intact head/eye shed too , Dexter is healthy! Don't know whether the fact
She was born on Christmas Day 2005, so she is just coming up to her 5th birthday. She is about 4 feet long now, healthy and doing well.
I feed her previously frozen, large adult mice.
She is picked up often and is comfortable with being handled. She has never bitten anyone, never gotten sick, never refused a meal, etc. The perfect corn snake.
@TheMlf haha. my bad. i thought i said weeks. and no im not fucking retarded like you are, do you feel like a badass talking shit on the internet? cuz everyone knows in person you wouldnt say shit
@wwecpp254 they dont bite unless felt threaten like any other animal, and it would not hurt cause they have small teeth (not fangs, fangs are on venomous snakes) and their bite pressure is less than 3 pounds per square inch approximately. the bite will feel like a small pinprick pinch. :-)D (smiley with mustache)
they dont bite often- unless they are hungry or you are annoying them.
My corn snake has bitten me once in the whole 3 years i've had her and that was only because she mistook my finger for the mouse lol.
It does hurt a bit, more stings though but not to bad, i wasn't botherd at all by it and im a wimp with pain haha. It feels like a small paper cut-if that.
i got mine yesterday

Should I post a current video of Dart? If people are interested I will post one. Would you like to see her eating or being handled? or both?
achaston 1 year ago
@achaston Can you do a handling video? Like not a 1 minute one but like 5 - 8 minutes?

In response to various questions:
The snake's name is DART, and Dart is a female
