Delpo was already sitting down by the time he decided to challenge, and the rule is it's supposed to be a near-immediate decision.

Though, when I saw him, I didn't get the sense that he felt the world was against him. Rather, he was just disgusted with himself.

The challenge system was never brought in for this kind of use. From what I understood challenges should be instant based on a players instinct, not for them to ask the umpire, ask their camp etc. They really need to crack down on this as it is unfair towards the server

@I1Trickxz1I There is when it's loud and the crowd can hear it I think. Or when it's threatening someone. For a side conversation, I doubt it. I know there are plenty of clips of Sharapove cursing during a match (not loudly) and I don't think there were any punishments.

@chelsea1289 Depends of the situation, there is no general rule. In this case Federer outburst was on the spot. It was late challenge and it shouldn't be allowed. And I don't mind anybody cursing if they are provoked.
