  • What a great video, literally the only one I've been able to find online. Sadly I'm so ignorant that I need more help in every way, like something that shows how to do it from the beginning, you know? I need to know what kind of thread to use, what kind of needle, how to change colors, how to tie off, the basic stitches, how to create that three dimensional effect. Are there books out there, or more tutorials?

    Turkish oya is so beautiful!

  • cok tskl !! sayenizde orenebildi, !

  • i LOVE your video!! PLEASE MAKE MORE!! there are not enough resources for people to learn how to make this lace. for it to die out would be a travesty! i have been trying to learn only for a couple of days now. i am having the most trouble getting the loops the size i want them *my tension*. it seems that you do it as if by magic!!!

  • Thank you for showing how to make lace.

    I really like this video.

What kind of wire is used to lace you're doing and where you can buy it?

Grazie di aver mostrato come fare il pizzo.

    Mi piace molto questo video.

Quale tipo di filo si usa per il merletto che stai facendo e dove è possibile comprarlo?

  • Hi Dmdeborah,

Thank you for your comment. It is a Turkish wire, it is very thin and nylon, it is very strong, where are you living? May be you can buy it by a Turkish store/shop.

  • With thanks thanks for your reply :)

I live in Rome (Italy) and I love the small flowers Oya so colorful.

I sailed much in interet in search of the thread used to make the flowers Oya but I could not find anything. You know any online store that sells the wire to make beautiful colorful flowers?
