great tutorial, however... why does my website only center at the top. I want it to also center in the middle of the page, how would i do that? thanks
Thank you so much! This helped me out after the typical hours of "google hunting." I have really only been working with html, css, for a year and had to teach myself flash. This helped me finish my portfolio site!
step 1 - If you go to tools4noobs , get the embed code off of youtube of any vid, paste it in the box, complete the dimensions to suit your webpage and tick the center box
step 2 - hit generate then copy paste the code into your page then substitute the youtube vid url for your swf file and then lastly delete the link that comes with the code, you have a fully xhtml compliant output.
I'm trying to come up with a nice way to present and update a "recent news" section on a homepage. I want it to function the way a typical blog adds posts to a page. If anyone can help please do. thanks.
One additional thing I noticed - Make sure that when you all make any additional changes and save in flash after you add the code in dreamweaver that you only preview and publish through dreamweaver from then on. If you publish from flash, the html code will revert back and the css will be erased so you will have to do this all over again. That may be something in CS3 only ...not sure.
Awesome, keep working at it. I'm going to put this on my blog later today so people can share using the coding and also copy and paste that first line ;) YouTube wouldn't allow the embed of that coding, sorry guys! But stay tuned for the blog posting in the description.

Hi, I do not have "Wrap around selection" on "Insert Div Tag" box. How can I find it?
greensotong 9 months ago
@greensotong select the swf first with your mouse before inserting the div.

Definitely true. I prefer not to publish directly to my web site's folder for the exact situation you mentioned. Good observation!
