i could never figure out who the other autobot Arcee was pulling. One was Wheeljack but who was the other? And it's funny how Ironhide's death is similar to his T3 death.

the hardest one in this movie is Optimus Prime's death. I was only a child when i saw him die he was my favourite childhood hero. Rodimus never filled his shoes.

You know what upsets me, among the autobots from the second season (excluding Blaster and Perceptor), Grapple was the only Autobot car that appeared in the movie. You didn't see Tracks, Hoist, Inferno, Red Alert, Skids, or Smokescreen. but in season 3 you saw almost all the minibots from the second season; Seaspray, Cosmos, Powerglide, and Warpath. The only minibot to not appear in season 3 is Beachcomber. What's up with that?

they killed off so many to sell the new toy line, but after the new characters came out, i had no emotional attachment to any of them. Grimlock became comic relief, Galvatron went crazy, just wasn't the same. i kinda like that the storyline after the movie were a bit more complex, Rodimus trying to deal with living up to Optimus' leadership etc. but still i didn't care for the series much after the Transformers '86 movie.

hahaha! there was one G1 episode where Megatron had the Heart of Cybertron (i think that's what it was called) put into his chest, and he was fucking up autobots left and right...no deaths though. but even my beloved G1 series were full of inconsistencies. but i'm with you dude, why they die like that in the movie but not the cartoon? real answer was to introduce new toy line,(but u knew that already) but i guess they didn't think we as kids would be attached to these characters.

Hasbro had new toys to sell, and figured the kids would forget all about them when they saw the shiny new ones.

Turns out Hasbro was wrong. Kids are sentimental after all, as most kids were upset their old favorites were gone and didn't embrace the new cast as well as Hasbro hoped.

After that they were much more careful with who they kill or write out, and they'll never get of an Optimus again. And the GI joe film was altered to compensate.

I dont know why they booed down G1 Transformers the Movie so much...just because of the ending? It was prolly so well done it aesthetically imploded on its own self.
