@Nanotick1 i have started a SH 5 movie, you can watch the first scene on youtube, unfortunately i do not have the time to finish it, pitty seeing how much potential there is with improved graphics, but university is kinda more important atm ;)
oh and by the way, as far as I know they included ALL the convoys of the war, so yes you can basically just go out there and shhot stuff, without worrying about the current objective, the ocean is always free to roam arround
as far as i know you cant dive as deep as some of the subs were able to, but I cant tell you the exact depth right now, its currently not installed ;)
Bascally the game consists of a carrier that follows you over several years with different objectives and quick mission like reanactments of certain battles.
But there is a very easy to get into level editor, with which you can create your own missions in notime (I didnt need any manual), so just place some random ships and you are good to go

I'm still playing GWX till the end of the month when I get new computer that can play SH4. Got 5 stars from me on an epic video.
I read something on the forums about each part being like 1.8gigs....I don't recall exactly but thats where I found your link to these.
yes in full res movie is several GB big, thatswhy I couldnt upload it, however I'm a little bit disappointed about youtube, since the vid is still a 3 Mbit stream and about 400 MB big for each part. It could have been way better.
Wundebar synchronisiert.. und schöne SH4 Aktion... :) Schade dass es da so wenige Deutsche Uboote gibt, generell ist eignetlich SH III besser gelungen. Aber super Arbeit ;)

A comment above asked, how deep does it go? All the way to the bottom if you don't stop it. lol
