@stue083 The nWo wasn't wwf vs wcw. It was supposed to be a hostile take over. That's why, around the end, it seemed like half the roster was in it. It would make sense they would go after the "most powerful" characters in the wcw. The only reason that take over wasn't successful and they didn't change the name permanently to nWo was because there was too much invested in the wcw name.

It's impossible to describe how just how awesome this was to someone who didn't watch it the first time. I never watched WCW before the Outsiders showed up. After they came in I never missed an episode over the next few months. You never knew who would show up or what would happen next. It was sad to watch WCW's decline.
