  • Dennis had a lot of pain from his failed relationships, his father's lack of love and abuse towars him. By a certain point he was self-medicating far too much to compensate for this and it truly led to his downfall. He was helpless and it's too bad the Beach Boys unit was too dysfunctional at the time to do anything to curtail it. Dennis was a soulful, generous, caring guy from all I've read but his vices, demons, impulses and naiveness were his downfalls.

  • God bless the Beach Boys and Dennis....They have all paid heavily for the joy in the music that they provided for us fans.

    Great film here but sad!

  • was that the finger at the end there?

  • this is so depressing, poor dennis

  • The 4th of July 1983 concert is the saddest part. Damn he looked and sounded so ill. I guess drowning yourself in rum and vodka will do that to you eventually. You could almost sense that everyone around Dennis knew he was headed for an early grave but maybe didn't know just how swiftly it was coming, nor could they have done much about it.

  • Man, his vocals are painfully ragged!

  • Poor Dennis. He was my age when he died, but those pictures of him in his final years....he looks to be in his late 40s to early 50s.

  • bless Carl and Dennis

  • It's Not Too Late is wonderful, it really is.

  • This is sad...I cant stop watching it though

  • good job man i loves the film

  • Cant blame the drugs!!!

  • It breaks my heart to see what happened to Dennis in the Late 70's. It's just too sad. Dennis was such a good guy, but the drugs took him. What a spirit he was. Wolfsky9
