I love this song. It might be my favorite song that they ever did. This was played at my aunt's funeral and makes me cry everytime I hear it. I can just imagine her saying the words in this song.

I just couldn't get into this style by the Nelons. It is a good song but I couldn't get into this style. Through the years I had lost interest in the Nelons(I won't say why) but I loved to hear Jerry sing. He is a good song writer. He is a good singer and when I would see them in person he was always Friendly and seemed to really care. Never seeming like--oh well just another fan---genuine Friendliness. What is he doing now or how can he be contacted. PLEASE if YOU know PLEASE POST IT!!

I removed my other comment from this post. It was about rumors I had heard .That's what ruined Kirk Talley,too! As far as I'm concerned, it's not up to me to judge or decide who's right or wrong. Yes, I can understand the hurt that I'm sure was caused, but that didn't change the fact that he was a good singer/songwriter. We don't know the reasons why things happen but they do and it is up to us to be forgiving. I still would love to hear him again. Kirk made a comeback and Jerry could,too!

Most definitely God forgives and I'm not judging either. I have many friends in Southern Gospel music and there is alot of that and people that would surprise you. Kirk I know is back on the road and still has alot of issues with people on singing in some gay churches etc.. but is an excellent singer and song writer. Take care!
