For instance I still haven't understood if we live in such a great and happy society why would anyone want to work rather than lying down all day, listening to music and enjoying themselves. The 'prescription' of how this is to be changed as suggested in the VENUS PROJECT, by Jaque Fresco and others, is far too 'technocratic' ---- and needs major revisions and additions to become more 'humanised'.

I go down a rabbit hole concerning something I find fascinating and important but slightly off topic, and sometimes neglect to directly address a question the first time around. But it's just as interesting to talk about! For many philosophical, deep thinking people, it's less interesting to quickly process one idea when there are so many factors to every idea, and so many ideas to explore. Did you know after the American revolution everyone wanted George Washington to be "King"! At this time the idea of democracy was (more or less) seen as a joke just as much as this may seem to most of everyone else. My point is that even the most absurd idea's now, can soon be come the most sane.

This is a huge shift in perspective in regard to a different form of lifestyle...without any form of government, jobs, economics..to a resource base toward and for humanity without any gain nor value system. This changes everything for the good of humanity but the main obstacle is to have our current worldwide variety of systems fail before we go for this shift of perspective...the fortunate and unfortunate thing is..we are at that precipice of human progress and evolution.

Natural selection?
When have humans been subject to natural selection in the last 6 or 7 millenia? I was unaware that we leave our disabled and weak in the street to be eaten by wolves. We make and live by our own rules, not some feral ideology of strong vs weak. Rich vs poor maybe, but don't try and say that rich people are more "evolved" than poor people.
And give Fresco a break, he's pushing 100 years of age, he isnt as lucid as he used to be ;P

What they need to do is get some billionaires that own certain industries into this project. Those people could fund this and make it happen. The hard part is convincing them to help fund something that will eventually put them out of business lol!
