Blackberry 8700g for sale!!!

i need help i just got this phone for but i can't call or go on the internet something is blocked i don't know how to fix it know anything to help?

@pattycarljackson Well, it's an earlier BB so the internet was mediocre. It was relatively fast, and loaded most pages and websites. However, without a trackball or touch screen, you could imagine how long it took to get to the bottom of a page using the side scroll. Honestly, if you're spending $ on a data plan with your phone, you can get a new BB curve 8900 or 8520 for free or very very cheap (75$) brand new. Those phones are significantly better than the 8700 (which i sold for 120 6 yrs ago)

I just ordered mine on eBay, was only 19.76 so if I don't like it then I guess its no big deal. But from what I see its a great phone, except mine is for Verizon... Shouldn't really be any different (8703e). Can't waittt!

@austingagnard It's not broke, I had the same problem, it's because you have an IT policy that blocks it , you need to install a blank IT policy on it , you can find tutorials on google.

Yea man, you can find this thing for like 80$ on craigs list. It wasn't bad but the curve is 10 times better. I personally like the Sidekick 3 LX

Yea, this phone isn't actually very bad at all. I just liked the sidekick better. I saw snoop and all his managers use this phone on his reality show too. It does the job. It does look a bit bulky compared to the newer phones though.

Yea, but its an AIM client so it's not the same as on your PC. The sidekick AIM is damn near identical to a PC, sounds, and buddy lists and all. The blackberry one only has like 1/2 your buddy list (without names edited, just raw s/n's). It cut out all the time and wouldn't reload sometimes. I guess it could cut it if you don't aim much. They may have changed it now (newer phones at least).

Thats right SickAudi. It's like 15$ extra a month but the cruddy thing is, you have to pay 10$ extra for unlimited text. The sidekick plan gives you internet, email, and text unlimited for 20$.
