My Dad always resembled Eastwood and maybe that's why I started liking him and his movies. This is the last movie I ever watched with my Dad. Dad was an old school tough guy who never tried to be tough, he just was because life made him that way. He grew up poor on a farm during the Great Depression and he fought in the Korean War where he was awarded two Bronze Stars. He had a life full of love and heartache after. He will aways be my hero. He died over a year ago. I miss him so much.

Walt Kowalski's character finishes what "Dirty Harry: Callahan started. I see this drama, Gran Torino, as a culmination for Clint.

What a wonderful actor. His presence has always been unmistakably Clint.

I hope he will find time and health to be on his side because when he's gone it will be like losing Steve McQueen, Paul Newman, and a few others.

Real talk...I loved the movie. It spoke volumes to me about what it means to be a man, be responsible and have great strength, conviction and a little bit of a rough edge. Seeing the end of the movie and even listening to this song struck a chord deep within my heart. I don't idolize him, but this movie gave me boundless respect for Clint Eastwood and it would be awe inspiring to meet him.

Amazing film. I also think his death at the end was his metaphorical death in hollywood, as this is his last film. So sad this is the end of his acting career. Grew up watching his films with my dad.
