  • 67018 back on Birmingham-Marylebone push-pull services for Chiltern.

  • When I was at Dalmeny on the 15th I saw 67024 in the sidings with it's standard coach rake behind it, full of passengers. This was at 1930 - it normally flys past the station when I'm waiting on my train to work at around 1726 so it had been sitting there for a long while. It was rescued by 67018 not long after. 018 must have completed it's circle run, dropped the coaches off (Millerhill?) and rushed back to rescue it. They also sent track 'bangers' off whilst 018 was backing into 024.

  • @MUSEDAVE82 It was 67023 that was in the loop actually, and it had failed with blown traction motors. 67018 left its stock in the loop at Inverkeithing, and headed down to rescue 67023 and its stock. 67018 & 67023 then continued on 2L69 to Cardenden, before heading back to Millerhill. At Millerhill, 67018 then ran light engine back to Inverkeithing to collect the coaches it had left behind. A rather hectic night :P

  • @CeTrains Unreal. Just assumed it was 024 because it's been active with 018 recently on the circle. Blown traction motors? No easy fix! Hectic night to say the least, cheers for the info.

  • Brilliant stuff mate i would like to see the 67s on the Fife circle at some point.

  • nice shots of 18 and 29 side by side!
