Sarahs performances were always top draw....she was among the top 5 female singers of all time. The Basie band, is the best band I`ve ever seen live, and that includes Duke Ellington amongst others. When I saw them in Birmingham, the drummer was Rufus "Speedy" Jones... I`ve never seen anyone to compare with him before or since.....

Sarah Vaughan, best singer in the world and Basie Band, best band in the world. Their ensemble work world renowned. George, Andy and Harold, the best rhythm section. What can I say, they tore this one up!

"DIVINE" in every sense. I saw Sarah Vaughan at Ronnie Scott's, London in 1977, and without a doubt, this lady took my breath away......thirty three years later she still does........long live "The Divine One"
