@coopmuch56 Hang gliding! The parachute of the paraglider/motor doesn't have a solid structure so it can mess up when unfolding, while hang gliders have one.
I dream to fly (thank you for the video) over the sky, BUT I have a problem: I am so scared of falling against gravity (i.e. roller coaster).
Am I possible to fly like that in the future, do you think? Do I get used to the feeling in which my intestine and other organs are going up? Thank you.
@sasa2340 I hate that feeling. It happens when you experience negative G forces... This doesn't happen in hang gliding. It doesn't happen in skydiving either, lots of people who I try to convince to come skydive with me give this same reason for not wanting to do it. Go for it!
@Longway2fall REEAALLYY?!? Thank you so much for that! I also wanted to skydive but I was scared of the feeling. The problem I have now with hang gliding is carrying the big poles with honda civic, so as soon as i've solve that, I'm going to learn ASAP!
@sasa2340 You should start learning anyways! You don't have to buy a glider right away, you will be training on one that is provided. Some locations offer glider storage right at the flying area! So transportation isn't necessary. Also, I am sure you can outfit your civic with a rack to carry the glider. Check out how guys make ski-bicycle-surf board racks, and go from there. You could always sell the civic and buy a pick up truck with a rack too.... haha.
@Nimrodrs I enjoy extreme things aswell ( btw im only 13 ) ive already contacted a guy in the area about hang gliding but im still saving up money!!! I wanna fly so badly! I already scuba dive, snowboard, unicycle, skateboard and stuff like that and your right, a lot of things us humans think is only dreamt, is actually realistic and it's pretty sweet!

@informasean Funny that there is no law in hang gliding to say you have to wear a helmet but seeing as you can have bad landings and go head first into the ground.

Hang gliders cut through the air like birds, they are like a paper dart whereas paragliders are more like a floating plastic bag. If you want convenience over performance, safety and fun... well, that's up to you.
Great vid-talk about climbing out! One of my dreams is to come and fly with the locals in Israel! I fly HG all over the western USA; been HG since I was 12yo in 1972. Wonder about the regulations for HG in Israel. I am H-4 in US system.
thought so, now i'm happy, coz i will buy my instructors talon in about a year or so. it looks like you fly it without effort and such great speed without loosing altitude.

If you are one of the guys in the purple clothing I would be worried, Hang Gliding is CALM thing to do and sure is safer.

Like birds, on our feet and against the wind if exits to reduce ground speed.
This is one of the most difficult things in hang gliding.

I have done, wind surfing, diving, cycling, roller blading, ParaGliding, skiing and one tandem sky diving.
Do you ever dreem of flying in your sleep? I did alot and stoped since I started Hang Gliding.
It is the closest thing to being a bird, It has many layers and depth, and aspects.
It takes a long hard (and joyfull) training to get there.

Can be very dangerous if you make a pilot error,
Landing on you feet with out wheels some times couse small crashes on the landing fields
Anyway it takes a lot of training to be a skilled HG pilot.
